When I came in and waited for your guys to give me a firm estimate you dropped the valuation to $4,000!!! Saying that there were too many things wrong which was a total lie. That was absurd and a pure “we don’t give a f**k” mentality” To top it all off you guys wrote all over my title and made it much more difficult to sell- extra paperwork. CarMax offered 7,500 and another offered 7,600. I will never come back to you for any service or purchase and I will go out of my way to ok write as many negative reviews as I can whenever possible. You guys give a new meaning to con artists and ruin further the already bad name car salesmen have. More

I thought Mercedes would stand behind their vehicles, but when the navigation system went down, they handed me back the keys and said it was up to me to open a case with Mercedes Benz USA to get a fix. WRONG! Has anyone every tried to open a case with Mercedes USA when they have nose-tail coverage on the vehicle through the dealer? I am too busy to wait on endless phone queues when the problem belongs to Mercedes and not me. That's why I leased the car from Mercedes in the first place. Also, I tried the phone number they gave me but the number is designed to send you through endless operators and bad music. Oh, did I mention that the number they initially provided me was incorrect. In fact, I don't have an extra life to spend the time dealing with Mercedes' problems. In fact, every Torrance address I gave Mercedes came back "We do not have data" or gave me addresses in Iowa, Ohio or Orange. And none of the addresses even had street numbers. Have any of you ever driven to Iowa trying to get to Torrance without even having the incorrect street address? Of course not. Also, the leased vehicle came with 3 years full Sirius access (data and music) which Sirius said expired after 26 months while I was trying to get my GPS system fixed. Mercedes said I had to deal with Sirius directly, notwithstanding the contract they admitted they had giving me afull 36 months of head to tail coverage. I had to pay Sirius extra fees on top of the written contract I had wth MB of South Bay. It is not too much to ask an MB dealer to stand behind the vehicles they lease. I am a busy businessman. I understand how things work. And I know an evasive scam when I am the scamee! I am more than shocked and upset. I am angry enough to write this review warning each and every reader that MB South Bay won't stand behind its vehicles or protect its loyal customers. Mercedes of South Bay will tell you that service and sales are different profit centers for the company. Big deal. It is the entity as a whole I complain about because the vehicle was leased from and serviced by MB of South Bay. Evading responsibility is not an art form I admire. I will attepmpt to speak with the GM of AutoNation as the company is part of the AutoNation chain. I have zero expectations and too little time to hassle with them. Having no choice but to have a car with functioning GPS (bad eyes mean I can't really read road signs), I had no time and no choice but to lease a new car from the dealer on the spot (one with working navigation) and plan to have it serviced at another a nearby, but more inconventionlently located, dealer. I wish I didn't have to throw more money at them. For the money one pays for a Mercedes, one would expect more by the way of service. Perhaps one day, they will be able to pretend they care about their customers. You never, ever, tell a Mercedes customer that "you have to call Mercedes and open up your own claim." My service advisor was Jacqueline. Service Manager was Ken. Their donuts are quite good, but one expects more from Mercedes. Until then, "Buyers beware." You have been warned. What a great shame! However, due to overcrowded and backed up service car, I did not receive promptly information regarding to my car status. I called 2-3 times just to find out what was the status of my car after 4 hours of waiting. Paul, my service guy was very knowledgeable and he arranged shuttle service for me to make it more convienent. I came from another car dealership in Van Nuys, their service department is way more advanced and the complimentary drinks and snacks have more options comparing to South Bay Mercedes Benz dealership. I wish the service department customers waiting lounge can be more advanced and more selections rather simply proving dounuts to the customers. However, the overall experience is great and I recommend to local residents. More
Used Cars - Non - Mercedes-Benz Vehicles If in the market for a non-Mercedes Benz vehicle, steer clear of this dealership. Misinformation regarding the features associated with the vehicle in If in the market for a non-Mercedes Benz vehicle, steer clear of this dealership. Misinformation regarding the features associated with the vehicle in question led to false expectations. This resulted in a waisted 100 mile round trip drive and 5 hours of a Saturday afternoon for the whole family. This resulted in a disappointing test drive when the vehicle in question had none of the features that were specifically inquired about, when confirmation had been received from the dealership’s salesman the day prior. None of the promisesmade by the salesman were met. We were to contact the salesman when we srarted our drive so the salesman would be available and the car would be prepared and waiting for the test drive. The salesman was never available nd the car was parked in the back of the lot. We were handed off to another representative. When confirmation was received the features in question were not on this vehicle, we met with the sales manager. That resulted in little more than an unheartfelt apology. If you are buying a Non-Mercedes Benz vehicle, you are proceeding at your own risk. You have been forewarned. More
MISERABLE EXPERIENCE & WALKED AWAY On our first visit they did not have the key to the vehicle we had made an appointment to see so we could not drive it but since it was unlocked we co On our first visit they did not have the key to the vehicle we had made an appointment to see so we could not drive it but since it was unlocked we could only see that the back panel of the driver seat was detached but on the lot as a CPO inspected vehicle. On our second visit we discovered it did not have the backup camera the salesman had declared it had since we were able to drive it. The salesman called and essentially promised if they put a camera as well as may discount the price modestly for our troubles and experience. Nothing was in writing but he said he had 'clout' to get a deal done. On our 3rd visit, we wanted to buy and after giving the 'deal' to his manager, said he couldn't do it but could give us a 24 month 'free' warranty'. We spoke with the manager and she was adamant that was her best deal. We walked and discovered that the 'free warranty' was already a MB promotion so it wasn't like they were doing anything for us...felt seriously misled and the 2 emails we respectfully wrote to the General Manager Gary Pilikyan were never acknowledged or answered. We had a great experience at another deal which i rated 5 stars so we were not 'window shoppers' and actually super happy we didn't put a camera in a car which was not OEM More

When he got there at 8 AM the service man told him he would have to leave the car until late afternoon. My husband said he had no way to get home and that he called in advance for an appointment so his car should be ready in a couple of hours. The service man told him that he would call Uber for him. My husband left with his own car and came home. A few days later my husband called again for another appointment. This time the lady making the second appointment told my husband that the service should only take two (2) hours at the most. My husband drove again to the service center and told the service man he had an appointment. Please read above for the out come of this visit (same as first visit). A year ago my husband took his car to this same dealer service center and he was in and out in two (2) hours. The service people were very nice. NOT ANY MORE! I understand that this dealership has new ownership. My husband asked to talk to the General Manager or his assistance and he was told that both of them were unavailable. My husband left. In addition to this, my husband called Mercedes "head quarters' and explained his problem with South bay Mercedes. The gentleman from the head quarters told him to next time "call Uber and that he would call South Bay Mercedes and see if this issue can be corrected for the future and that he would call my husband right back". The service man has not returned the call yet! (three days ago). Maybe they were busy! Save yourself a headache and go to LONG BEACH MERCEDES! More
