Joe was extremely attentive. The dealership picked up the car at my house and left a benz loaner car in my driveway. Joe called me early, he said my car needed an A Service. It was nice to have my car serviced and not have to sit inside the dealership all day. I returned a day later, dropped off my loaner car and it was easier than I expected. I worked with salespeople before at this dealership and always found them helpful and polite. They are very knowledgable about the product as well. I am a perfectionist, this dealership catered to my need. I love the free car washes and other perks like coffee and breakfast in the mornings. I brought my car in for a check last week, and had the chance to sit near the fireplace and drink a coffee and relax. Good people, nice facility, everything is always very clean. The price of service seems to be the same as other Mercedes-Benz dealerships I have used in the past, a little expensive. If you own a Mercedes you know, but it was the little extra something that makes it hurt a bit less when you get your service bill. More
To whom it may concern, I would just like to say that our trip to this dealership was less than accommodating.First of all we had visited the dealership back @ the end of March 2009 & that trip was very nice trip to this dealership was less than accommodating.First of all we had visited the dealership back @ the end of March 2009 & that trip was very nice one dealing with a young saleman named Steve. He was curtious & friendly & told us what he had available. Then we went on line & found what we were looking for @ Ray Catena's dealership in Union, NJ for a lot less than what Steve could offer us, so we took the trip to NJ & purchased the car. Then we found it to be a little small so we went back to the Smithtown dealership to find out that Stephanie in Customer Service had written us up in the computer so that when we met Maurice,who was very nice until he read what Stephanie had put in the computer about us(never even meeting us) went from nice to "Rude" & demeaning with his attitude. As if we were to be punished for going to another dealership, no matter what the savings was to us. Since I am speaking of this dealership I would like to say that Jay Latteri & Bob Vella in the Service department were top noch in their customer service & friendliness & very helpful in every aspect of their job & it's a shame that we will not have the pleasure of their help in the future.Lucky for us we had gone to Mercede's Benz of Massapequa & their office changed our mind about Mercede's Benz dealerships on Long Island so we should not need to go back to Smithtown Mercede's Benz.Thank You More
