I want to start this out by saying that TAYLOR was WONDERFUL. She was as helpful as she could possibly be, was in constant contact with updates on my vehicle, and was a complete professional. It took two weeks to service my car for a job that would have taken my regular service garage a couple of days. I know this because I took it to them first, where they diagnosed the problem. The only reason I even brought it to Mercedes is because the issues were still covered under my extended warranty vs paying $800 for my regular garage to take care of it. Then Mercedes didn't have any of their own cars to loan me, so they set me up with a "free" rental car from Enterprise. The cost of the daily damage waiver for the length of time I had to use the Enterprise vehicle amounted to nearly $800 anyway. And Mercedes feels no responsibility to reimburse this, because the damage waiver is "optional." You would think a dealership that prides itself on "luxury" for its clients would ensure EVERYTHING was covered. Additionally, they undervalued my car for their in house appraisal. I took it to two other appraisers and received a value of several thousand more. And then, after all of that, I finally got my car back and something is wrong with the gear shifts. So I'm going to have to bring it back and likely wait another two weeks for service, so then I can write another one star review. More

I made an 11AM appointment previous week for "A" service, told it would take 2 hours, I said I would prefer to wait. When I showed up I was told they were running "way behind", plus I would also need an alig told it would take 2 hours, I said I would prefer to wait. When I showed up I was told they were running "way behind", plus I would also need an alignment so it would now be a 4 - 5 hour wait. Offered courtesy car which I reluctantly took. I should have been called earlier that day so I could have rescheduled. It is a 45 minute drive each way. I called at 2:30 to find out when I could return to pick up car and was told it would be completed by 5PM, six hours instead of 4 - 5 !. I had dinner meeting so I said I would pick up car the next morning. Two round trips, which meant 3 hours driving, for a scheduled 2 hour appointment. I was also surprised at final bill, over $1,100 for "A" service + wheel alignment + replacement of rear wiper blade. Since the GLC-300 is no longer under warranty I plan to use a local authorized service garage for maintenance and repair. M/B of Sarasota Dealership Sales and Customer service are excellent. As for service my past experiences have been very good. However, customers with busy schedules and commitments do not have elastic time frames to accommodate their maintenance provider's scheduling mismanagement. Sorry that I have to turn in my first negative report on M/B of Sarasota in my 10 years of experience with them.....but I think you need to know that you have a deficiency and it needs correction. More
