I experienced this mind set first hand on Tuesday February 1st. When I started my E 350 convertible the dash showed that my key was defective even though the car started. I drove straight to the dealership to get help. The first contact was everything I expected. The contact immediately took the key and changed the battery. The key worked perfectly. If this was the end of the story, they would get 5 stars. Unfortunately it is not the end of the story. I thought that I had only one key. So I asked to order a second key. I was shocked to find that the second key would cost $670. I bit my tongue and gave them my credit card. When I got home I was surprised to find I did have a second key. I immediately tried to call the service department to cancel the sale. Unfortunately the message told me to leave a telephone number for a callback, Instead I decided to drive back, a 10 minute drive and cancel in person. I was SHOCKED to find that I could not cancel the order. Their excuse the key was already ordered. REMEMBER this was less than one hour after placing the order. I stated I would not pay and asked to speak to the manager. The person I spoke to was very matter of fact and said they could not cancel the order and I would have to pay for the key. Unfortunately I lost my temper and expressed my displeasure with their position loudly. A second manager told me to leave without attempting to find out the reason for my being upset. I am attempting to get the charges eliminated from my card. I am writing this review to hopefully warn other Mercedes owners of their poor customer service and assure them that there are other repair shops in Sarasota that do an excellent job with rational customer service policies. More

Thanks for taking my car so quickly. I wasn't happy to find the slit in the tire but one half hour later, I was turning it over to service. Great responsiveness, pleasant and capable staff.
