The sales people, when I bought my car in 2015, did not rush me or do a hard sell. What stands out to me is the Service Department. Especially the Service Writer, Daniel Salinas.He makes you feel that he rush me or do a hard sell. What stands out to me is the Service Department. Especially the Service Writer, Daniel Salinas.He makes you feel that he is taking a personal interest in my car. He points out a problem if there is one ,when I return for aScedules Service. Since I went for my first Scheduled Service, he knows my car very well. I know there are independent mechanics who specialize in Mercedes Benz, but I will continue to bring me car to San Jose Mercedes Benz Dealership because of the honesty, care, and quality service. The repairs were expedited so they could be completed the same day as I dropped the vehicle off. The service advisor, Joshua, was exceptional. He kept me updated during what turned out to be a long. I am a big fan of MBSJ service! I recently came in to have by E350 Blutec updated to the latest Diesel smog requirements. They went out of their way to accomodate my busy schedule I recently came in to have by E350 Blutec updated to the latest Diesel smog requirements. They went out of their way to accomodate my busy schedule. The extensive rework was complete in about one week. The car runs like new, did not notice any reduction in performance or mileage. Worst Mercedes dealership I have ever gone to. I tried to ask to see an S Class and they said there were no salesman available, even though I saw 3 standing around drinking coffee near me. I ended up purchasing my car from Steven's Creek instead. Since I lived nearby this dealership, I decided to try their service center. Again, super disappointed. They actually CHARGED me to wash my car, which should be a free courtesy service from all dealerships. Even after that, the car was dirty!!! Please do NOT use this dealership as you will leave with a sour taste in your mouth. These are high end vehicles you want to purchase with your hard earned money. Why waste your time on a dealership that treats you like 2nd class citizens. Mercedes really went down in service over the years and this dealership is the worst example of this. If I can give them a Zero star review, I would. More

I purchased my used car less than 2 months ago and dropped off my car for a service appointment to have my sunroof shade repaired. I was under the impression that it was under warranty, however I was dropped off my car for a service appointment to have my sunroof shade repaired. I was under the impression that it was under warranty, however I was told it was not so I decided not to proceed with the repair. Now, my sunroof does not open at all and is worse off than before I dropped it off. I also have a dent on the door. I paid $275 for nothing for them to diagnose and now my sunroof does not open at all and I have a new dent on my car. I escalated this issue to the service manager and I'm still waiting to hear back. More
