I hardly ever drive my Mercedes due to the fact that I’m a caregiver to a family member. Glen was very understanding and accommodating to my schedule of being a caregiver. Had to have tire replaced during inspection . . left and low air pressure sign came up .. called told oh it will reset itself ! Had to put air in brand new tire .. 23 to 32 !! Steve and Merahya are two outstanding service Advisors. I recently came in to have a tire replaced and my appt was made quickly, the service was great. Contacted Mercedes Benz Rochester two days ago regarding work needing to be done on my E350 and am still waiting the courtesy of a reply from them. They are no better than MB Syracuse who are just as apath work needing to be done on my E350 and am still waiting the courtesy of a reply from them. They are no better than MB Syracuse who are just as apathetic and (frankly) untrustworthy, If this is how MBUSA treats it's cstomers, MB Owners then I will be another MB owner making their next car a BMW or similar. If you own a MB then find a good independant real mechanic to work on your car because MB, at least in the state of NY, cannot be trusted, pure and simple. More
This was my first service after purchasing my vehicle in late 2022. Firstly, I applaud the effort made by WEST-HERR to effectively communicate the specific service/s to be performed before hand. It certainl late 2022. Firstly, I applaud the effort made by WEST-HERR to effectively communicate the specific service/s to be performed before hand. It certainly gave me a piece of mind. While the service was on-going, I waited comfortably in a decent office space set aside for customers. Secondly, in a relatively short period of time, the service was completed and my vehicle was handed over to me. Glen painstakingly explained in detail what was done, potential areas of interest to monitor for future services and protective measures to take in order to ensure maximum performance of my vehicle. Overall, I was very much impressed by the technical and professional abilities demonstrated by Glen and his Team. I admired the pleasant and the no nonsense approach exhibited by the Team. I will indeed come back for more professional services! More
This is my second time visiting this Mercedes Benz location. The first time, Lynne was my service advisor and she was absolutely amazing. I had a fantastic experience. This time, i was helped by Glen Wandell and my experience was not so pleasant. I needed an oil change and an inspection. I live in NYC and never had a problem passing inspection with tints on my back window. There was a young lady who greeted me upon arrival and she takes me over to Glen. Glen tells her in a very nasty tone that he will not inspect my vehicle with “those tints on”. I was standing right there and heard him and could not believe he was speaking to this young lady like this and that he didn’t speak directly to me. I go up to his desk and say good morning first because he still did not acknowledge me. He goes on about services i may need. I tell him i only need an oil change. He says no problem and says that he can’t inspect my car because he would have to strip my tints off. I told him i would get my inspection in nyc. While getting my oil changed, the mechanic found that my oil tank was cracked because i hit a pot hole on my way up to Rochester. Glen comes back to me and tells me about the oil tank and then proceeds to ask me if I have auto insurance on the vehicle. Who drives a Benz and doesn’t have auto insurance? I ignored his brainless question and called my insurance which with whom i have full auto insurance coverage with. I went back and met my mechanic Michael Fabretti who was absolutely amazing. He assured me that my vehicle was in good hands and was very pleasant. John, the gentleman who drove me to pick up my rental from enterprise was also very pleasant. I am a Nurse Practitioner in one of NYC’s top hospitals. I know we all have bad days but your customer just like my patients should never know that. Because of Glen’s ignorance, i would not be visiting this location again. More
