Just stopped in to look inquire about one of their used vehicles. I'm currently just shopping to find that one and only car, and the sales manager and saleswoman I worked with were not only courteous, but vehicles. THE WORST AND NOTHING is exactly what you will get from this place. A year ago, I purchased a $75k+ vehicle from here. They were very persuasive in getting me to purchase a $3k tire and rim coverage, due t this place. A year ago, I purchased a $75k+ vehicle from here. They were very persuasive in getting me to purchase a $3k tire and rim coverage, due to having black rims. I fell for it, and the coverage has proven to be anything but actual coverage for damage on the rims. They have "touched up" my rims twice through my warranty coverage and it is so awful, I could have done a better job with a sharpie. I requested the rims be completely sanded and redone. It's been 2 months, and I've heard nothing from them. I've followed up several times as well and just get put off. I also purchased 4 new tires and alignment in September for nearly $3k. I called two weeks before this appointment and requested the same all season Michelin tires I had on my vehicle to be ordered for replacement. Two days after I dropped my vehicle off, they sent a text saying they couldn't get the Michelin tires in. I was told they can put a Continental tire on that was very similar. I agreed to the "similar tire". Less than 7,000 miles later I was in an accident where I spun out on the freeway, and a semi truck was within a foot of taking me out. I took my car to the local Audi dealership and told them what happened. They said my tires were bald and needed to be replaced ASAP. I said that is impossible, they are brand new! Turns out, this Mercedes dealership put continental summer performance tires on my car that lasted less than 7,000 miles. One, I drive a GLE... it's a SUV, not a performance vehicle. Two, why are summer tires being put on my car only months before winter?!! I nearly lost my life to this mistake made by them. When I confronted them on the issue and brought them the bald tires, they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about it. I can't wait to serve them the lawsuit they deserve. More
I contacted Mercedes Benz of Rochester, MN on January 13th regarding purchasing a used car. I was contacted by five different people via email, phone, and text. When I asked to talk price they all said I needed to talk to a sales manager. I could not get a sale manager to return a call, so I sent an email to the dealer manager on January 16th The next morning I was called by Josh Back, I asked what the out-the-door price would be, he gave me a new lower price and we agreed I could arrange for a mechanic to pick up the car for inspection. I arranged for the mechanic and called back 20 minutes later and was informed the car was sold. When asking Josh why he didn't honor our previous plan he said we didn't have any money down from you. (I had tried to do that with one of the early contacts but they said I had to talk to a sales manager) I guess this is how today's world has gone, Josh didn't consider giving me a call back saying I have an interested party. But since we had made this arrangement prior I will give you the opportunity to make a decision. Common courtesy is no longer part of the human thought pattern. Disappointed but know there are many other cars out there. But for those looking, this is how this dealership works. More
I didn’t have an appointment as we were traveling from Texas in our 2021 Winnebago View and had a serious problem. They took us right in on a Saturday afternoon. I reached out to Mercedes-Benz of Rochester to tell them I wanted to trade-in my vehicle and buy one of their used vehicles. The sales manager called to offer me a fair price on my trade-in vehicle. When I purchased the vehicle, the dealership had added a few products what they call, The Xzilon Silver Package and Skip Door Cups and Edge. Completely my fault for signing papers that included this addition of $1,190 to the vehicles price. They want people like me to pay a large sum of money for something that literally costs them $30-$40 in material that anyone can do themselves. When I spoke with the salesman and sales manager, I thought the price was built into the advertised price, it wasn’t. I bought the vehicle late Saturday afternoon/evening by the time we finished with the paperwork, and didn’t notice this until I returned home, 1 ½ hours away. I tried calling the sales manager on Monday, no return call or answer from him after leaving a message in the morning. I then sent him and the dealership General Manager, an email the same day explaining that I didn’t realize what I had signed. The Sales Manager said that I signed the documents, there was nothing that he could do. Radio silence from the GM. Dumb of me to sign something when I didn’t read the document clearly. I thought dealerships were on the up and up, especially a Mercedes-Benz dealership. Why did they add something without being upfront on their website or CarGurus? The right thing to do would be to say we’re sorry for any confusion and to refund the $1,190. On Mercedes-Benz of Rochester website it says, “Customer satisfaction is one of our top priorities.” This statement is obviously not true. I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone! They are a wolf in a sheepskin. More
I actually enjoy the buying process. Usually it is dealing with the sales force that is a problem. I found working with David a real treat. He is outstanding for his knowledge, friendly demeaner, an dealing with the sales force that is a problem. I found working with David a real treat.
