The dealership is geared to customer service and they do not disappointment. The service representative is extremely knowledgeable and very patient. While driving my 2006 e350 , I got the big red “failed brakes” signal. Sure enough, I had no brakes. Luckily I was in town, going very slowly, I found an uphill incline and, using my parking brake, manag brakes” signal. Sure enough, I had no brakes. Luckily I was in town, going very slowly, I found an uphill incline and, using my parking brake, managed to stop the car. The police called for a flatbed and the car was taken to my private MB mechanic. He said it was the sbc unit, and that it was under a 25 yr warranty. Because he was not with MB , he could not do the warranty work for free, and said to send it to Richmond MB. I did that and I called and told them it was on its way and that it had failed brakes due to a failed sbc unit. I called the next morning and was told the car was fine, they had erased the code and I could pick it up and drive it home. I reminded them that it had failed brakes . They said it didn’t have failed brakes at this point. I asked the gentleman if he would let his mother drive the car. He said fine, we can do diagnostic work. The first step would be $166. I reminded him that the sbc unit, under a 25 yr warranty was at fault. He said I would have to pay for all the diagnostic work . An amount he could not quote me as it could escalate . I said I didn’t see why I had to pay for diagnostic work for a part under warranty. He said that’s the way it is. I asked him how he would feel if I were killed in an accident due to the failed brakes. He said I should then have my attorney contact him !! I did pick the car up and brought it home ( with no brake issues thankfully). I then called Charlottesville MB ( see review elsewhere). They stepped in immediately. They had the car flatbedded and got to work on it. They found 2 parts that were at fault . Replaced both ( both under 25 yr warranty) and I picked the car up . There was NO charge to me , and I am forever grateful to Charlottesville MB . More

Scheduling time and check in was great. It's a pleasure to have Login and Patrick Thompson to assist me when I come in.
