Reception at service was hurried, polite but hurried. Loaner was perfect ( new, clean ) but mileage on loaner was more than indicated on paperwork so i was worried id have to answer for it. Receive initial phone call from service the following day conveying to me what service was to be performed. Received another call that evening at 5 pm stating work was performed and my car was ready to be picked up. I stated that i was 90 minutes from you and currently at my business and could not possibly make it on time, was asked to be there in the morning and i again replied not possible as i have a business that requires my attention but could be there by 1:30 pm. The person on the phone, while courteous, was put off by my scheduling but consented. Arrived at 1:30 pm was greeted by service reception( different person from drip off ) paperwork complete, handed loaner keys over, was given my keys and told my car was out front. It wasnt, but was eventually located and driven to us out front. We requested someone familiar with the CarPlay function to make certain it worked properly, The young man was knowledgeable and after getting it to finally work admitted there seems to be a software issue. Not wanting to waste time and leave the car, i accepted it and drove off. Now i fully understand the difficulties in software compatibility, but i lease a Mercedes expecting perfection to be a matter of degree and not an attempt. I am in no way disappointed and look forward to a long relationship with my salesman and the Princeton dealership and service. This long winded explanation is not an attack but a constructive criticism of my recent experience. I own a business and i understand the complexities involved. Thank you in advance for addressing this and again its not a major contention but something that needs a bit of attention. Thanks again. More
