Dealer trying to sell services unrequited. Wash fluid reservoir to be flushed and refilled, lube door seals useless tasks that they can charge the customer and not do anything. Quality of service has deteriorated over the last 5 years or so. It is challenging to schedule appointments. I just had my vehicle in for a service b appointment which includes”check for damaged components”. or so. It is challenging to schedule appointments. I just had my vehicle in for a service b appointment which includes”check for damaged components”. When I picked the vehicle up no mention of the fact there is clearly an issue with the suspension until the advisor brought the car up and he noticed it wasn’t sitting right. Why did I pay $700 for a tech to not report anything. And now I have to deal with getting the car back in for another service. I also had the windshield replaced at that time and immediately noticed on my drive home that the rear view mirror was problematic - hard to adjust and wouldn’t stay in position. I understand people make mistakes but Where is the quality control? Stuff like this never used to happen. I pinged my service advisor on Monday and got a text back that he was out until Wednesday. I waited until Thursday noon and had to text again. Seriously, advisors don’t cover for each other? Why wasn’t the message picked up when my advisor returned? I am starting to think about a new car and up until recently I would have strongly leaned toward another Mercedes but this is not a trend to make me want to stick with MB. More
