I bring my GLS 450 to the dealership for issue related to Airmatic system, impacting one side of my car sagging, while in the park, but soon I start my car it stabilizes all tires and runs perfectly fine, bu Airmatic system, impacting one side of my car sagging, while in the park, but soon I start my car it stabilizes all tires and runs perfectly fine, but i decided to have dealership checked about the root cause and get it fixed, my car stays in the dealership for Three days, and they replace air compressor, saying this was the issue, and you car is now fixed, but within a week i started to have the same problem, but this time the whole back of the car get impacted, and malfunction sign appears, inform service advisor, bring my car back, and after two three days of inspecting, they said that the air bags for both rear suspension need to be replaced, when I ask that why you change the compressor before, but they have no clear answer, I had no choice but to agree, assuming that the information is coming from Mercedez benz service advisor, and they keep the car for another three four days, and after I got the car and drove for 5-6 miles, it shows the same malfunction sign and sunk in the back again, towed the vehicle back, they recommend another part to be replaced, and keep my car for almost a week, but the issue remains. In the meanwhile I had a conversation with service manager and inform him that my car is in worse shape now, even after spending more than 4000k, and they are unable to identify the actual problem. I did send an email to service GM ( Daniel), and ask him to refund all my money, and I will get my car fixed from other dealership, since you guys take over 20 days, four visits, over 4k payment, but issue remains, but his advise is to bring it back so they can replace other parts and charge me more. I was so frustrated with all this, that I trade my beautiful GLS and bought another car. During the whole process, i bee communicating with service manager, service GM, my service advisor, but no one help me out. I will never recommend anyone to trust Mercedez dealership of Plano for service, they just rip you off, and frustrate you up to the extent that you keep paying them, as they want, or replace the car. Please note that I love my GLS 450, but this experience make me chose another make rather then Mercedez, and only because of one bad dealreship exeriance. More
Be aware of Plano Mercedes. I have a CLS 63 AMGS. I was driving and my AC just stopped working and smoking was coming out the vent. At this point my climate control interfa I have a CLS 63 AMGS. I was driving and my AC just stopped working and smoking was coming out the vent. At this point my climate control interface stopped working completely. I took it to Plano Mercedes and paid $215 for a diagnostic at 8:00am on Monday. I was going to get an answer by end of the day. I did not get an answer until Thursday morning. The service advisor (Eli Garcia) told me I have 16 hardness wires that got shorted out. Here is the kicker. They don’t know why it shorted out but it’s shorted. What kind of xx diagnostic is that? You don’t know why it happened. What is the definition of the word diagnostic? Anyway, they said Mercedes recommended that if anything that is more than 6 wires are shorted to replaced the whole harness throughout the car. I’m thinking ok. Whatever that mean. Only issue was the quote was for $28+K! That’s right. You heard that right. $28,245.99 to replace all the harness wires because they claimed it’s a lot of work and they would have to drop the engine. These guys are a joke. I took my car to McKinney Mercedes. They charged me $230 for the diagnostic. Came back and told me that they needed more time to trace the shorted wire and asked if I would authorized up to 5 hours for roughly $1100 so they can remove the car seats and carpet. I authorized them. They got an answer for me the next day and said 10 wires were shorted and they can get it fixed for $954.88. I authorized it and it’s fixed. Cost me a total of $2,225.34. They even found out why the wires got shorted. I had oil leaks that got into certain wire harnesses. They even provided the photos. Plano Mercedes can’t find out the reason why it was shorted. That’s $28,245.99 (Plano Mercedes) vs $2,225.34 (McKinney Mercedes). Plano Mercedes, you guys just tried to rob me. Who else have you robbed. People, McKinney Mercedes is only 12 minutes drive away. Go to there and not get robbed. More

However, the quality of their I've been a patron of Mercedes Benz of Plano for several years, relying on their service for multiple Mercedes Benz. However, the quality of their service has drastically declined. Recently, I brought in my older GL450 for a diagnostic test due to an SRS light issue persisting since a recall servicing in December 2023. Despite clear communication about the problem, the estimated cost for the diagnostic test doubled upon completion, signaling a significant discrepancy. Upon retrieving my vehicle, I noticed damage to the front driver door handle, with the button missing. Despite photographic evidence showing the button was intact and attached to the handle upon arrival, the service manager attempted to deflect responsibility, claiming it was already missing. The service manager communicated via the service rep, stating that if it had indeed been intact upon arrival and somehow dislodged during the servicing, that would be considered a component failure and they were not responsible for it. This lack of accountability is appalling, especially for a reputable brand like Mercedes Benz. The dealership's refusal to acknowledge potential mishaps during servicing reflects poorly on its integrity and disregard for customer satisfaction. I intend to explore legal options for compensation for the damages incurred and will never again entrust my vehicles or new purchases from this dealership. Avoid Mercedes Benz of Plano at all costs. I am looking into changing my dealership for services on my 2022 CLA 250; if I could give a negative -5 rating I would. On Saturday, December 16th I left my car for maintenance at the dealership. They gav my 2022 CLA 250; if I could give a negative -5 rating I would. On Saturday, December 16th I left my car for maintenance at the dealership. They gave me a loaner and said they would call with the analysis of what was needed. I received the call after 3:00pm and he said my car needed two new tires. I declined the service and asked about the brakes, he said he would call after they checked them; he never called. At 4:40pm we received a text that the car was ready for pickup, so we headed to the dealership and arrived at 5:10pm. The manager informs us that they close at 5:00pm. How do you text at 4:40pm and expect the client to be there before 5:00pm, and you don't have the courtesy of calling and explaining that they close at that time? Also, the reason we were in a hurry to get there before they closed is that they told us that if we kept the loaner, they would charge us. We had to wait for the car more than 20 minutes, when I see the car it was not washed, but that is not what upset me. On the receipt it said that they had checked the tire pressure and put some air on those that needed it, but the tire pressure light was on, and when I checked the App, the tire pressure on three of the 4 had a warning. I took pictures of the App and of the warning light. I cannot believe they would return a car without addressing the tire issue and have the nerves to write on the receipt that they had fixed it. Also, the tire that was replaced was all dirty and greasy, no one had the courtesy of cleaning it. Very bad customer service and a lack of communication. I need to find another place where to service my car. More
