Took in the car for check engine light, after repairs the light came back on, took the car back, and she spoke to the mechanic in my presence, which stated that the part was defective, but she refused to all light came back on, took the car back, and she spoke to the mechanic in my presence, which stated that the part was defective, but she refused to allow the mechanic to do warranty work. when objected, she walked back to the shop and spoke with tech in private. she came back out and stated that the warranty work can not be done, raising issues with why we complained to service supervisor about her service. this was in April 2011. the car was not fixed, nor is it now. they refuse warranty on their parts, and this service adviser intentionally interfered with technician trying to replace the parts. it is now 4 months later, and we are still trying to resolve the check engine light issue. (initial review) after filing this review I was contacted by the GM, and as his follow up with his staff, I am now threatened by both service advisers, and was told through the mechanic that they no longer will work on my vehicle, and the open service ticket is closed in retaliation of my initial review of this dealership's service work and it's vicious, vindictive service advisers. I have contacted their GM again and will take this matter up with Texas attorney general's office of consumer division, as well as bringing suit in court to recover the cost of defective parts, and damages caused, because no longer can be trusted to work on vehicle. Wow, we recently purchased a used Benz from Ewing Autohaus. We had been to a few other dealers and met with some other salesmen, but no one gave us the level of service Norman did. We were on a budget, but Norman went through the numbers and found us the perfect vehicle. The best part was his style, no high pressure sales tactics. He was very patient with us as we looked and a few vehicles in their inventory. I'd highly recommend anyone considering purchasing a luxury vehicle to contact Norman Rivers at Ewing Autohaus. We drove away with the perfect car at the perfect price and all within our budget. We never felt pressured and didn't walk away feeling like if we tried harder we could have gotten a better deal. Curtis was also extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Ewing and Jon to anyone and everyone - actually I already recommended Ewing/Jon to my neighbors last night (Jenna and Marty Davis), but I think it will be several months before they begin looking. I Love my ML350 4 Matic - it is fantastic. Jon was very very knowledgeable of everything and took all of the time I needed to explain all of the workings of my new Mercedes to me, making sure I understood. I am definitely sending my daughter to Ewing/Jon in a few months when she gets ready to trade her BMW in for probably a new C250. Thanks again - IT WAS A PLEASURE!!!! More
