I recently had a tremendously disappointing experience with the service department at the Mercedes Benz dealership in Pembroke Pines. As a long-time customer, I expected a certain level of professionalism with the service department at the Mercedes Benz dealership in Pembroke Pines. As a long-time customer, I expected a certain level of professionalism and expertise, but unfortunately, my recent encounter fell far below my expectations. Firstly, last week, I brought my Mercedes C-Class 300 to the dealership to address a specific issue with a recall, and when the card was brought back, the sunroof was not working. I was shocked when the assistant manager insisted on charging me extra for simply checking the car. My suggestion was to check the electric fuse. To make matters worse, he denied the existence of a dedicated fuse for the sunroof in my vehicle, despite my insistence and knowledge to the contrary. This kind of blatant disregard for a customer's concerns is completely unacceptable. Furthermore, this was not my first time seeking assistance from this service department. On a previous visit, I reported a noise coming from the dashboard, which they claimed to have resolved. However, the noise persisted, indicating that the initial repair was either incomplete or ineffective. Given that I had already expressed my dissatisfaction during my first visit, I had hoped that they would make an extra effort to rectify the situation during my second attempt. Unfortunately, nothing was solved, and I left the dealership feeling frustrated and let down. At the same time, when I picked up my car, it was delivered to me unwashed and covered in stains from tree leaves, which were particularly difficult to remove considering the black color of my vehicle. Not only was it an inconvenience, but it also cost me time and money. I had to take my car for 2 additional washes just to get rid of the stubborn stains. This is not the level of service I expected from a reputable brand like Mercedes Benz. I believe it is essential for service department to ensure that a customer's vehicle is returned in the same or better condition than when it was brought in. The lack of attention to detail and failure to clean my car before returning it to me is unacceptable. The lack of attention to detail and the dismissive attitude displayed by the assistant manager and the service department as a whole have left me with serious doubts about their competence and commitment to customer satisfaction. As someone who values the reliability and reputation of the Mercedes Benz brand, this experience has been truly disheartening. I strongly urge the management of the Mercedes Benz dealership in Pembroke Pines to address these issues promptly and take the necessary steps to improve their service department. Customers should feel valued and respected when entrusting their vehicles to a dealership of this caliber. Regrettably, my recent encounters have left me questioning whether I can continue to rely on this particular location for future service needs.
