My 1st service & Mercedes experience, vehicle showed service was due & I scheduled it. When I dropped off, after 1 hour, Dealer advised it wasn't needed for another 1,500 miles. I expected at least fo service was due & I scheduled it. When I dropped off, after 1 hour, Dealer advised it wasn't needed for another 1,500 miles. I expected at least for my troubles they'd return the car washed (takes them 5 min. in their carwash) but no such service. BMW service always returned my car washed. Expected more from Mercedes. More

This is the 3rd time I visit the service department, is always 30 minutes just drop off the car. Car is great, but service is not up to par. Today I was called by Mercedes-Benz Concerning my GPS map update. I was assured that my service problem was a miscommunication And I was offered a total refund. Excellent Service Roberto the service mechanic identified an axle crack and pulsation/vibration due to back rotor defect. He told me to wait in the waiting area and he would be right with me.. 30 minutes LATER.. Still nothing... No one addressed me or even took my keys or information, my car sat aimlessly in the driveway as I did in the waiting area!! One would think your service and communication would be on a different level when dealing with Mercedes... Sadly Not... I left the dealership without any car service or customer service... I waited till the end of the evening to see if Mr. Rodriguez or anyone else from Mercedes would contact me to address the situation. Sadly Not... (so much for express service) ... The General Manager Bert Martinez is unresponsive to calls an emails until AutoNation corporate gets involved. The Fort Lauderdale Dealership cleaned up their mess and did so knowing full well that it was only to take care of the customer and make thing right. Something that Mercedes Benz of Pembroke Pines does not comprehend. 4 times I have walked into that dealership since moving to Broward County and every time I walk out wondering how Mercedes lets them keep this dealership. STAY AWAY. More
