I went to this dealership to close out my old lease(under my mother’s name) and to start a new lease under my name. They were supposed to send the remaining balance to MBFinancial to close out the old lease my mother’s name) and to start a new lease under my name. They were supposed to send the remaining balance to MBFinancial to close out the old lease and release my mother from any financial obligation. Instead what they did was transfer the debt from my old the lease that I had under my mother’s name to my lease under my own name. The charge rolled over to my current lease in the amount of $1033.65 and inflated my lease sales price. They also charged me for a key that I “never turned in”, which was inaccurate. I turned in both keys as instructed. They never reported the second key I returned and I was charged $374 for a missing key and $467.80 for an old missing lease payment. Both lease transactions occurred at the Mercedes Benz Pembroke Pines and the finance managers name is Sergio Deleon, sales person-Roberto Herrera, and 2-3 so claimed sales managers that never gave me names or cards and signed off on my lease paperwork. I never received a copy of my new lease on the day that I supposedly signed 6/22/20 at 9:48pm. April 10,2021 I went to go see Sergio about this matter. He told me he would try to do me a “favor" and take off the key charge. I then stated that was not a favor because it was their mistake in the first place. He also stated he sent a check to MB Financial to close out the previous lease and when I demanded proof of the check he claimed to have sent to MB financial he screamed at me, my wife, and my daughter to leave his office and continued yelling at me and my family all the way through the lobby until I left the dealership. I am putting a formal compliant on Sergio Deleon, the man that sold me the lease, Roberto Herrera, and the general sales manager of the dealership with MBUSA, MB Corp. and MB Daimler. The general sales manager and general manager refuse to talk to me or return my calls. I don’t even know their names because multiple employees claimed to be the sales manager to pressure me to take the lease. 2020 CLA, $3000, $570 per month, and I still owe MBF $1,504.94 for my old lease. All transactions occurred at Mercedes Benz Pembroke Pines, FL in June of 2020 and I have gone to every Avenue for help. They should close this dealership down and fire the entire sales staff and finance staff for unfair, deceptive, and abusive acts or practices laws that protect consumers-CFPB consumer laws and regulations/UDAAP/Dodd Frank act-To prohibit misleading claims from auto dealers, the Dodd-Frank Act gives the Federal Trade Commission the authority to enforce the Truth in Lending Act Regulation Z (TILA or Reg Z). Regulation Z requires lenders to present consumers with full disclosure regarding loan terms and rates. I am not done with this matter being corrected with Mercedes Benz financial/MBUSA/Daimler Mr. Sergio Deleon, and I thank you for the abusive and embarrassing treatment of myself and my family at the Pembroke Pines dealership.
