My personal experience at Mercedes Benz of Paramus Extremely UNORGANIZED and RUDE. Scheduled my service with a loaner car (waited weeks) and was told when I got there by Axel, sorry no loaner cars avai Extremely UNORGANIZED and RUDE. Scheduled my service with a loaner car (waited weeks) and was told when I got there by Axel, sorry no loaner cars available and that 60 cars were ahead of me. Also, Axel denied he was rude to me and when I challenged him on that he suddenly became nice in front of Theresa. Then I told him I do not want him near my car and he said something like well I don’t want to be near you either (once Theresa left). Further, no one around to receive you, tell you where to park. Only when I said I’m not leaving without a loaner car as I can’t wait around for 4 hours, did a loaner car suddenly become available. Service person told me they laid off 15 service techs and they are backed up (not my problem). Brand new people everywhere who are not at the level of the former Prestige Mercedes employees. I will never buy another car from this dealership again. If they can’t treat you like a human being, then there are many more alternatives. Too bad Prestige sold this to Paramus Mercedes. AWFUL experience and Axel needs to be fired. You can’t run around screaming and showing your upset to customers...no matter how bad your day is. We are all stressed and dropping off your car should not be such drama. I came back with my husband and everyone was so nice. Hmmm....could their be a problem with a strong female who stands up for herself? More

Customer Service Atrocious Scheduled an appt for May 29th at 6:00 pm drop off with loaner. Women who scheduled my appt told me to be there before 6:00 pm. Left work early and Scheduled an appt for May 29th at 6:00 pm drop off with loaner. Women who scheduled my appt told me to be there before 6:00 pm. Left work early and arrived at 5:50 pm. NO ONE at the Service desk to receive customers. Customers standing around waiting in a very warm, hot, humid service area for their vehicles to be brought in. Service Advisors, nowhere to be found. The only two employees where two fellows trying to move cars out of the way. Finally, I spotted someone that looked familiar and asked him if he was a Service Advisor and if he could help me since I had been there waiting for at least 20 minutes. Chris apologized and wrote up the order and provided me with a loaner. The loaner had less than 1/4 tank of gas, really how far is the customer going to get, oh, right, to the next gas station. By the time I pulled out of the dealership it was 6:35 pm. On May 30th, approximately 11:30 am I receive a call from Chris that the car is ready to be picked up. I told him I will be there about 6:00 pm. Walk in again at 5:50 pm, paid the bill, the women pages for the car to be brought around. At 6:10 pm a friend of mine drops off her loaner, pays her bill, chats with me for about 5 mins and her car arrives. I walk back into where I paid, and Kiel Ridley is talking with now another women at the desk where you pay, and I excuse myself and say, "I've been waiting for my car to be brought around for 20 mins. My friend's car was brought around in a matter of minutes." Mr. Ridley responds, "Well, she probably called express service." They checked the log and noticed that it has been a long time and my car is still not brought back. I wait about another 10-15 mins and finally my car is brought in. The car was dirtier than when it went into the shop. So I was so fed up, I said, "This is how you deliver a car back to a customer!!" He responded in a very aggravated, condensing way, well, it depends when the car was finished. For heaven's sake, It's Mercedes!!!! I responded at 11:30 this morning. Well, they can take it around to run it through and it shouldn't take long since there is no other cars in line. Mr. Ridley was assisting another customer and excused myself again, and asked him for his business card. He answered, "when I'm finished." I was there before the customer he was assisting. After a couple of minutes, he walked inside and reluctantly gave me it. I have to say, there has to be a complete overhaul and redesign of the entire Service Dept, from it's employees and how their offices are situated. Service Managers and Advisors should be out in the open to address customers as they come in, not in their air conditioned offices. They have no visibility of what is happening at the drop off/pick up area. The customer experience, their attitudes, lack of professionalism, the cleanliness of pickup area is terrible. Perhaps, the General Manager really needs to read their own website, Make the short drive to our NJ Mercedes-Benz dealership and treat yourself to the luxury you deserve. I think not. More

Convenient and easy I was facing and ultimately had emergency open heart operation, at the same time I was contacted to schedule my service.
