The manager of service was fantastic. However when I drove up with a flat tire the valet attended told me that I needed an appointment and couldn’t help. I took in my 2019 S560 for service. Needed an oil change and my massage seats weren’t working. The day after I dropped it off I received a video showing me “water” in my trunk and Needed an oil change and my massage seats weren’t working. The day after I dropped it off I received a video showing me “water” in my trunk and the mechanism that pumps my massage seats had a “kink” in the line. I was told that the water in my car was from damage and the kinked line that was causing the massage seat to malfunction was from damage I did..basically a car accident. After charging almost $500 for ONLY AN OIL CHANGE ….I was asked to pay another $500 to do further diagnostics and there was a tremendous chance that the malfunction would NOT be covered under warranty and I would endure the second $500 charge out of pocket. So I naturally paid for my oil change($500) and drove away with my car. Turns out the water was from a leaky water bottle in my trunk. Turns out the kink in the hose for the massage seat system was the only issue and by unkinking the hose the system works perfectly fine. It’s as if warranty is meaningless and they find loop holes to exploit the customer. When I asked the service writer to please make sure the massage seat pump has a “crack” in it before they refuse to warranty the repair….his response is…” I already internally charged 2 hours of work the rest is on you”(you being me) More
