Extremely Dissapointed I am currently leasing a 2016 C450 AMG and this car is awesome BUT goes through tires like nothing. I leased the car from a different dealer but serviced it in Paramus because it was closer to home. Got the car in April and blew my right front tire in November. Brought the car to this service center and got the tire replaced. Blew my front left tire in December. Went back and when I asked the service advisor why this continues to happen he explained that it’s an AMG and these cars all have run flats. I asked ok so what you’re telling me is that this is going to continue happening? To which he answered yes and shut me off because it seemed like he just didn’t want to deal with me. I blew this second tire on a Saturday on my way to NY on the West Side Hwy. This hwy has no shoulders to stop at so I had to keep going until my next exit which was far and call Roadside Assistance. Mind you it’s extremely cold that day. Got in the tow truck. Super nice guy. Brought me to Paramus and made sure I was ok before he left. Service didn’t have the tire in stock so they ordered it. I was offered a loaner which at this point I had to take against my will because I didn’t have any other means of transportation. The loaner I received was a LINCOLN NOT A MERCEDES so I am already upset. I didn’t want to be rude to the lady and ask do you see me driving a Lincoln? But it was all they had available. Oh that’s another problem with this dealer, they never have loaners available. My first ticket ever was given to me in this car, court date and everything. Nothing to do with this but I mention it to emphasis on how horrible my experience has been. Picked up my car that Monday. Blew my third tire in September. It was like pulling teeth to get some sort of discount. Mind you, this tire should’ve been covered 100% by Mercedes Benz because when I blew my fourth tire in February of 2018 I brought my car to a different dealer. This dealer called me right after receiving my car. Made sure I was ok first then explained what I should expect next. Well this very knowledgeable service advisor brought some very helpful information to my attention. Mercedes Benz has a great warranty on tires purchased from them. Reason for this is that they know we can get the tire cheaper elsewhere but by purchasing it from them they give us a 2 year warranty per tire. If it’s within the first year you get 100% of what you paid towards the tire except taxes and some other small fees. It it’s within the two years you get 50% back plus taxes and fees. They charged me less than I was expecting. Once I learned this I had to find the time during my very busy schedule to call Mercedes Benz of Paramus. Getting a hold of someone there is impossible. Then there’s the person picking up the phone that has no manners or customer service skills. I experienced this every single time I called. I finally get a call back from one of the Service Managers - Kief Ridley. On that call he apologized for what had happened and made up some excuse for the service advisor that charged me for the tire. Long story short the service advisor did not have the knowledge needed for this position. Kief promised me a call back and he did call the next day. After that call I was getting the run around. I had to literally chase them for my money. I finally was fed up after waiting over a month for my refund and called and told him I was expecting that check by the end of the week because enough was enough. I had to replace my two rear tires and I told him I was waiting for this check to do so. He asked why not bring it there? I said would you bring your car to a service center after being put through this? The subject was changed. I finally received my money on my debit card. I asked him why I got so little back to which he said he’d have to call me back on that. It’s been about two plus weeks now. I am done! The happy ending to this is that I brought my car to Benzel-Busch. Such an amazing service center. I received more than I expected. Alignment and everything and my car drives like the first day I brought it home with me. I had an alignment done at Paramus but nothing like what I have now. Needles to say I won’t ever be back here again. It was a nightmare and I’m just glad it’s finally over. I feel better and safer now driving my car. More

Simple problem, crankshaft position sensor 003-153-28-28, and a quick fix ~20 minutes. Good news is they were very helpful and took care of the problem within a couple hours. Bad news is they charged $550! MB retail is $159 for a Bosch sensor that you can buy in the aftermarket for less than $60. Bottom line: grateful they helped us out of a jam but would never go back. Also i wasn't impressed of how i left. i wasn't explained what was found or what is needed or even given an approximate cost of things that required to be check. i was given a piece of paper with list of items that were checked and needed corrections which i needed to google to find out what it was. I also had to wait when i pulled up which no one was at the front desk to assist. I also wasn't given information on how to get out of there. More
