Change a tire with a hole. Service was good but the wait time was excessive. I learned the site did not have the correct and had to access one at another location. It was a Saturday and busy and increased the wait time which was understandable but too long. I was able to contact roadside service but didn't hear further and brought the car to Prestige Nd tried to cancel roadside service and was waiting over twenty minutes before disconnecting. I then asked service manager to call and cancel and he had the same problem. All in all service was good. More
Not what it used to be! Sorry to say. The dealership since changing hands has gone down. I have had numerous calls never answered through service at different times during op Sorry to say. The dealership since changing hands has gone down. I have had numerous calls never answered through service at different times during operational working hours. Most recent was my wife's car had the dash go out prior to us going away. I never reached anyone on the phone then called on Saturday before we left and someone finally answered the phone and said they would see what could be done while we were away. After arriving Saturday your associate said hopefully they could get the car done while we were away for 8 days. I said to him I don't need a loaner or a ride while we were away but all I am asking is to get the job done. The Monday back we called numerous times and could never get through to see if it was ready but no answer on any phones so my wife figured let me try something different and made another call this time making it look like we were looking to purchase a new vehicle and to no avail someone now answers. Sad. She was put through a manager at that point and my wife said she was on her way for the car because she had a ride. He said OK it will be ready. She gets there and she said they looked very confused in service department. They finally gave her the car and she left. As she was driving within a few minutes the tire sensor light came on. Then within a few minutes more another sensor light came on. Now she had to circle back to the dealer again for issues that should have been resolved with a test drive from your service mechanic! She was told there are no loaner vehicles and she was pissed at this point. You had the car for over a week and didn't check it out before giving it to her? He said, I will have someone check it out and see what the issues were while she waited. It took about an hour and they said it's an airflow sensor they would have to order and said it's safe to drive but we will call you when the part came in. All I can say is that we never had issues like this with any of the cars we got from Manhattan Mercedes or even calling into the dealership to speak to service department. We always were in and out of the service department or sent out with a loaner if it was a longer issue. I think we will be going back once this lease is up if things don't seem to change. So far the worst experience . Where to start... From not answering the phone calls, messages and not returning the calls to getting a bill with wrong charges. and almost three week Where to start... Quality is worth the wait. AS usual the work was done to the highest of standards. Unfortunately, it took 3.5 days to complete. Had a loaner thought!! Marks on the car after detailing had to be buffed out by me. Some didn't come out. Car was pristine when I brought it in. I pride myself on that. When I got it back...well not so pristine. More
