Terrible but not unexpected I almost did not buy a Mercedes when I needed this car as I had such terrible service w/ my last GL450. I purchased this one from the Manhattan deale I almost did not buy a Mercedes when I needed this car as I had such terrible service w/ my last GL450. I purchased this one from the Manhattan dealership and took it there for the first 3 years for service as I love the car but have never had a decent experience w/ Paramus service. It was too difficult to get into Manhattan for the last 2 service appointments so I took it to Prestiege. I made a Tuesday appt last Thursday as it was the 1st available. I waited 20 minutes for a service advisor to check me in. I was waiting w/ 3 other customers who also had appointments. The young man who was available told me there were only 3 service advisors working which was causing the backup. We all had appointments so you knew we were coming. Why would you not schedule for the customers you KNOW are coming in? I was told service would probably take about 2 hours when I made the appointment. After waiting 2 hours, I checked w/ the desk who told me my car had been done for awhile but the service advisor was in a meeting which was why no one had told me. If I had not gone & asked, I would have continued to sit in your customer waiting area which felt like it was about 30 degrees. Everyone in the area was wearing a coat. I am not sure how the women working at the desk could even work. The reason I waiting is that I was told by your advisors on previous visits that they work on waiters first even if the waiter is a walk in & you have an appointment. I cannot understand a policy that pushes those w/ appointments behind walk ins. I will also say that while my appointment was terrible, it's actually the best service appointment I've ever had at the dealer. Between both of my GLs, I have never gotten my vehicle returned on the day promised, nor have I ever received a call when it was going to be delayed. I have found out about the delays when I called expecting the car to be ready as promised. This is the 2nd GL450 (I love the car other than the ridiculous headrests that you redesigned to be as uncomfortable as possible between my '08 & my '14) I have owned & it currently has approximately 92k miles on it. I am sure I will be shopping soon but rest assured, my next car will not be a Mercedes & that is completely due to the fact that Prestiege MB in Paramus has TERRIBLE service. More

Poor Management There were only a couple of loaners available when I got there. My service teck Dave was great. One of the best. When my car was ready it took me 25 minutes to have the guys bring it into the garage for me. I was not the only customer waiting that long. You should take a lesson on efficiency from the Benz dealership in Naples. Doug Hughes . More

Horrible Customer Service and Follow Up Service My car was service for over 8 days. A week went by no calls with any kind of follow up to let me know what is going on. Good drop off bad pick up I drive almost 2 hours to this dealership and the salesman was great. When i dropped off my car for a small dent on my car the service people acted ve I drive almost 2 hours to this dealership and the salesman was great. When i dropped off my car for a small dent on my car the service people acted very nice and professional. But when i was called to pick up the car i drove there and was able to make it at 7:13 after my commute. I was told that if i was there by 7:15 i should be fine and they understood that i lived far way. When i got there they immediately profiled me and started speaking Spanish to me, i don't mind but my Spanish isn't the greatest when it comes to specifics about a vehicle. Then they couldn't find the paperwork, i said that i would take my 5 year old to the restroom while they looked for it, upon my return the cashier was no where to be found, i looked for him and he just pointed to my car and said you can leave, i asked for paperwork and he said that he didn't have anything and that once they find it, i would get a copy in the mail. Both of the service man didn't care about me or my 2 daughters or the long trip to get back home, They acted like i was a bother to them. More
