Terrible I purchased a "Certified" ML 350 from Mercedes Benz of Orland Park. We were so excited when we purchased the car and felt we made the right decision I purchased a "Certified" ML 350 from Mercedes Benz of Orland Park. We were so excited when we purchased the car and felt we made the right decision because it was a "Certified" vehicle. That feeling did not last long. We had to take the vehicle in for service 5 times in less than a year of ownership. The average amount of time the vehicle was being serviced was 6 days and 40% of the time, the vehicle was making the same noise we brought it in for!!! After months and months of taking this "Certified" vehicle in, we had had enough and were concerned with the long term reliability of this "Certified" vehicle. Our warranty was due to expire in a few months, and since MB of OP wouldn't take the car back, we decided we needed, and I stress NEEDED to purchase an extended warranty. When I discussed the ongoing issues about the vehicle with Sales Manager Wilson Rogers, the goal was to work something out to offset the issues we had experienced. Since they wouldn't take the piece of junk back, my hope was to work out some sort of deal to offset the full cost of the extended warranty. MB of OP reached out to MB USA and said, sorry, we won't help you out. But what we will do, is compensate you one payment for the time the vehicle was in the shop. I was not happy about their solution, but what can I do - it is what it is. Here's where it gets even worse. Since I was not happy withe resolution, MB USA decided to do nothing. You read that right, MB USA decided to do NOTHING! When I discussed this with MB OP, they too said they would do nothing. MB of OP kept pushing this back to MB USA but they fail to realize THEY were the ones who "Certified" the vehicle, THEY were the ones we purchased the vehicle from, THEY were the ones or serviced the vehicle, but since we were unhappy with constantly taking the car in and the offer of compensation - remember, I never rejected the offer, it was not what I was looking for - both MB USA and MB of OP decided to do nothing. NOTHING!!!!!! "The Best or Nothing..." I guess it is the nothing option... MB USA and MB of OP SUCK!!!!! BIG TIME!!! More

Temperature gage going over 84 degrees I brought my car in After taking it to my regular mechanic and he suggested that I take my car to Mercedes because of the wiring problem the cAr had. My mechanic did a diagnostic and gotna reading that a sensor was bad but would not work on the car until he made sure that was the problem. Once he'd thoroughly inspected my car he found issues with the wiring and suggested I take it to the dealer. Flowing his instructions that's what I did because my car wS overheating. The Mercedes mechanic diagnosed the bad sensor and told me that was the problem and if I replaced that my cAr would be good to go. After service and 1804.00 dollar later without driving off the lot my car was doing the same thing. Service manager was rude mechanic supervisor did t want to talk to me. Will never go there again. I think I will go to Chevy to buy a new car. More

Candidly, the dealers in Houston and Austin were very nice but no steak behind the sizzle. I think I understand, they are in "sellers' markets"... But, I suspect Chicagoland is a great market for you... We had contact with dealers in CA, CO, NC, NY as well as Texas. Whatever CRM system you are using does the job, but once I had contact with more than one of your dealers, it was obvious the follow up was purely automated... no personalization... Except for one... Darius. Darius was professional, incredible attention to detail, very polite, thorough. Sincerely, you guys should pull him up into MB corporate. He is a great person, voice and face for MB. DARIUS was knowledgeable, helpful, pleasant, and trustworthy with absolutely NO "double-talk"!. I explained what I was looking for and Darius found it!! It was a friendly, flawless transaction, thanks to Darius! He patiently answered all of my questions and I never felt any pressure or hassle. He truly went above and beyond! He even offered to drive the car to my home, when it was ready, and pick up the trade-in. He has since called to make sure I am happy with the car and see if I have any questions or concerns. I couldnot visit for another 10 days, and Darius followed up just at the right time to make sure we are visiting them the following weekend. We were traveling from Iowa, so Darius made sure we didnt travel for 350 miles for nothing. He even called us that morning to let us know that the car was still there. He showed us two cars and took us out for a test drive. The car we wanted was inside the store, they took it out for us to check it out. Darius did a wonderful job with the price, and Chris Ray got us a wonderful financing option. We had a great pre approved loan but the dealer even beat that. What we really liked about them was unlike other dealers, they didnt try to "sell" services and warranty. They made things easier for us so that we didnt have to drive back another time to Chicago. They cleaned the car in and out before we drove it out of the store. Great service and salesmanship, I would buy from them again and refer our friends without a second thought! More
BEWARE of their extremely creepy internet guy, Darius :-( Just a warning to others - I called in to this dealership in response to a Craigslist post they had placed for a used vehicle for our business. Afterwards, their internet guy (with whom I had spoken) did an internet search on my (captured) cell phone # and then had the nerve to contact me to complain that he hadn't been able to find much (it was my private cell) on me or my company, and why was I not advertising on the internet, and what was our website, and wanted to know additional details about our company and myself...VERY creepy :-( When I questioned him on this, he was rude and dismissive and responded that "you can never be too careful about who you are speaking with" ! And I was calling him in response to an ad that HE had posted ! Nothing terribly sinister, just beware that MB of Overland Park is NOT out to help or assist you in any way, but is (apparently) a very mercenary bunch who will stop at nothing to generate sales - Buyer BEWARE ! :-( More
Large Dealership / Hometown Treatment I found MBOP through Autotrader as I was looking for a 2014 SLK. I clicked the link from Autotrader directly to the MBOP website. I inquired about the car and told them that I was wanting some information quickly. Brad Schrader immediately responded and I had all the information I needed in about 30 minutes. After work my wife and I drove up to Orland Park from Springfield IL. We arrived at the dealership 30 minutes before closing. Darius Krogulski had the car washed and indoors for our inspection. We drove the car and fell in love with it. We then spoke to Darius and Chris Ray and told them that we would get back to them tomorrow since it was closing time. Chris suggested filling out a finance app and seeing if we could do the deal tonight to avoid another 6 hour trip back north to pick up the car. The application, approval, and delivery of the car took less than an hour. Plus the finance rate was lower than my bank had quoted. We drove the car home that evening. I was very surprised with the degree of service I recieved from these 3 people at MBOP. It is a top notch dealership with a great price and excellent customer experience. I will definitely call when I am ready to purchase my next Mercedes-Benz. Highly Recommended!!! Thanks! More
