Called in about a C 300 cabriolet spoke with Zachary. All he did was talk in circles and tried very hard to pass me to his manager. After giving him an offer he said his manager would call me. Had to contact him again the next day and request follow up, which he said his manager would call me shortly. Another salesperson called me named John, he also talked in circles and was unprepared when he requested a time for us to chat again. All I wanted was a straight answer about my offer for a vehicle. In the end John could not justify why the book values on this particular car were $5,600 over market value. Even though fletcher jones dealership group is the, “Best in the market,” and I, “shouldn’t worry about price because they’re so competitive.” Him and his management could only concede $200 on a vehicle $5,600 over market value. Even though I used logic, and actual comparable vehicles in the market to shop against their inventory this did not get anywhere. The price may not be the fault of management, but Zachary’s service was sub par, and I don’t see how this dealer became, “number one in the market,” if they over charge and are inflexible on their vehicles.
