I cannot say enough about how helpful, professional and knowledgeable Andrew is about the Mercedes vehicles. Patrick had also helped us whenever we called or stopped in and Drew was not available. The dealership itself is very clean and comfortable. This was another big factor in us determining this was the right place to buy our next vehicle. I would highly recommend this dealership as well as Andrew. He really made us feel that even after the sale he and the Mercedes dealership were there to help take care of whatever questions or needs came up regarding our vehicle. More
Satisfied with minor complains Because I purchased the car from 1100 miles away, the overall experience was exceptional and unique. I found this car through the car search program Because I purchased the car from 1100 miles away, the overall experience was exceptional and unique. I found this car through the car search program HUDL from my Federal Credit Union. Because of the color, low mileage, and low price, I decided to contact the dealer. I was not so familiar with the process so I was pretty nervous and a little worried. The sale's representative, Carrie Cleasby, helped me going through the entire process. She answered my questions timely and professionally. She also arranged shipping so that I could get the car three days after the payment was received. Overall I think she did excellent job. However, there are still some issues I have to address here. First, during our conversation before I made my decision to purchase this car, I was told the car was not a certified Lexus, which was fine with me. However, after I wired the payment and saw the purchase contract, it said the car was sold 'As Is'. I am not sure if all used car should be sold AS IS? I feel the dealer should specify that car was sold AS IS because it is very important for buyers. However, the dealer never mentioned that before I made the payment. Second, I hope the sealer could have done better job inspecting the car before putting it on the market, especially those related to safety. When I received the car, I immediately noticed the air pressure of tires warning light on the dashboard was on. I drove to a gas station and found the right rare tire had low pressure. The warning light turned off after I inflated the tire. I thought the low pressure was due to the temperature during shipping. However, the warning light went off again 5 days later. This time I drove to Mr. Tire. Surprisingly, the technician told me there was a nail on the tire!!! I spent $26 to have the tire repaired without problem. What shocked me is how could your dealership sell a car with safety problem? Last, It is completely understandable if certain things are missing from an used car. When I knew there was no user's manual and only one smart remote came with the car, I thought it was normal. However, when I took the car to Maryland safety inspection, the agent told me there was no key for the wheel locks!! I immediately emailed the sales agent, but her answer was very simple: NO IDEA. I had to spent $80 to have the locks removed and another $10 for new nuts. I don't think the dealer should pass this kind of problems to their customers. These few problems really could be avoided if the dealer paid a little attention to the car before putting it on the market for sale. Unfortunately, due to the carelessness they passed these problems to the customers and costed them extra money to correct the mistake they made, even not mentioning the potential safety issues these problems could have caused. I believe the dealer should be responsible for the expense of tire repairing and removing of wheel locks. I emailed their general managers, but not response. Regardless, the car was in good shape and the price was unbeatable. But the service need to be improved in the future. More
We were EXTREMELY pleased with Mr. Williams laid back no pressure sales approach, friendliness and knowledge of auto we were looking at. His focus on our needs and concerns was greatly appreciated. It's probably because of Mr. Williams we purchased your Mercedes and not another one we were looking at also. Mr. Harrimans' delivery briefing was both informative and fun! The time he took to explain the autos features and answer questions was very refreshing and instilled a pride to be a Mercedes Benz owner. Also his over knowledge of the auto was impressive. I was very unhappy with Mr. Hingorani's high pressure approach to selling optional financing and warranty! We told Mr. Hingorani from the beginning we would be paying cash yet he still pressed financing over and over to the point of trying to tell us how to manage our money. Once past this hurdle he then pressed for extended warranty. His explanation of why this was needed due to the complex nature of a Mercedes and the extreme cost of possible repairs, almost had us walk out the door and purchase another brand. We finalized the deal only because of my prior knowledge of the Mercedes Benz auto, my research of the particular auto we were looking to purchase and my confidence in Mr. Williams to correct any issues we may have. My husband and I have purchased many Mercedes from this dealer due to the implacable service we have received over the years until last week when I brought mine in for a scheduled service. I waited for 5 dealer due to the implacable service we have received over the years until last week when I brought mine in for a scheduled service. I waited for 5 minutes to be greeted in service department only to be greeted by a very rude woman (I think her name was Amy). To my disappointment I was informed my usual service advisor Jeff no longer worked there which was a great disappointment. I did not recognize a single person there which is not a good sign. I had called and left 3 messages for Amy trying to find our what was going on with my vehicle only to get a call back at 4:30 stating it had not been in the shop. I can honestly say the reason My husband and continue to purchase Mercedes was for the excellent service we have received which is no longer the case. We will not purchase another Mercedes and living in an area where a lot of neighbors drive high end cars will not recommend purchasing a Mercedes if they ever plan to have it serviced there. I can only hope they make some serious changes soon. More
