Sometime ago I told Mark Field that if a good SL 550 came in I would like to look at it. We have purchased three previous Mercedes from Mark, and as he always he was very professional, very accomodating, an in I would like to look at it. Sales Review My wife and I were replacing our sedan and, with me at 60, were considering convertibles, another sedan, such as an E-Class, or a 4-door coupe such as My wife and I were replacing our sedan and, with me at 60, were considering convertibles, another sedan, such as an E-Class, or a 4-door coupe such as the Mercedes CLS, Audi A7 or BMW650. In other words, our desires were all over the place! We examined and drove Lexus, Jaguar, BMW, Audi and Porsche. We were clearly in a later stage mid-life car crisis! Mark Field was extremely helpful and gracious as we drove a convertible, a CLS, and went back at least several more occasions to re-drive the CLS and convertible. Mark was very accommodating and offered suggestions. Did I say we also looked at the S-Class, we were truly all over the place and probably the customers from xxxx! Mark called us when their dealership had taken in a late model CL550, which is the larger coupe. The price point was very favorable so we took his suggestion and met for a test drive, just once. It was the perfect blend of exciting power, good looks comfort and room that which we were looking for. It is now in my garage. Among all the sales persons we had interacted with during this purchase, Mark Field gets kudos for real helpfulness and good humor during our repeated walk-ins to re-drive and look, look and then look some more. For us he is the face of Schumacher Mercedes and without question will be the one we will search out again when the Rover needs replacing with another SUV, or 4-seat convertible, sedan, or, hey, maybe that SL Roadster I never had!
