They provide me with a video inspection of my vehicle and explain everything requiring department at the North Scottsdale Mercedes-Benz dealership. They provide me with a video inspection of my vehicle and explain everything requiring attention. My regular service adviser, Steve, was not scheduled on the day I brought in my car so Adam helped me. He was very kind, patient and professional and Steve called me to confirm that I was pleased with the service. More

This is a great dealer to purchase a car (especially through Lou), but service it elsewhere. Consistently after Schumacher sold I noticed they've been trying to sell unnecessary items and accelerate ser through Lou), but service it elsewhere. Consistently after Schumacher sold I noticed they've been trying to sell unnecessary items and accelerate service schedules. It's to the point where I view the service side as sleazy and untrustworthy. I've done 7 purchases/sales with this dealership and those have been fine, but something foul is afoot with service. Today the service rep tried to trick my wife into replacing spark plugs at 36k miles when that should be closer to 50k miles (basic A service due, no issues consistent with spark plug replacement and this was at drop off, so it's an attempted sucker sales move). I know they can be recommended at 45k service A visit, which would be where we are in 2 years, so this is just profiteering. More
Worst attempted car buying experience I have ever had. Started with Lou Gordon who based on other reviews can be very good, but he was awful in my case. I was trying to buy the electric EQS SUV 450. It Started with Lou Gordon who based on other reviews can be very good, but he was awful in my case. I was trying to buy the electric EQS SUV 450. It was somewhat new but Lou argued for 15 minutes the 450 model did not exist. Then he found it in their system but was of very little help configuring it. Once configured, Lou said it should take 60-90 days to get built. He called 2 days later asking if I had a copy of the configuration I could send him as he said he lost it. I sent it to him. Called Lou monthly to follow up on the build status, the third time he said the order still had not been pulled for production yet. I asked why. He said they are not yet building that 450 model. I informed him that 450 model was being built and was other dealerships around the country. He was surprised, said he would check and get back to me re options but he never did. We gave up. Then called the sales manager to start over now 5 months later. He assigned a new sales rep John Bultman, good sales rep, who discovered Lou never even entered the original order into their system and did not even have my contact info in their dealership CRM system. So we started over. This was April and said I should now be able to get a 2024 model and get it in the fall when I return for the next winter in AZ. In August, John called and said they could not get build dates from Mercedes yet for 2024 models and did not know when that would happen, so fall delivery on the EQS looked doubtful. So we dropped the EQS order and ordered a more traditional GLS in early September. Got a build date of October 21 which happened, car was queued for shipment and then pulled back into the factory. After a couple weeks I was told that happened because there was a scratch on the bumper which needed to be dealt with. In December, they could still not tell me when the bumper would be fixed and the car shipped. So after 15 months of trying we gave up and ordered a BMW X7 which we will likely have in mid January. Finally I then asked for the $5,000 deposit refund which John said they would process in a day or two. A week later nothing so I followed up. This took 3 weeks and 3 follow ups to get the deposit refunded. I own a GLE that I bought just over 2 years ago in Minnesota. Great buying and service experience there, but the opposite with MB of North Scottsdale. If I enjoy my BMW I likely will never buy from Mercedes again. More
I recently bought a used Porsche from here and I want to share my exceptional experience dealing with salesperson Lou Gordon.During my months-long search for a car nationally,I was looking for specific feat share my exceptional experience dealing with salesperson Lou Gordon.During my months-long search for a car nationally,I was looking for specific features and considerations such as CPO status, service and ownership history, cosmetic condition, specs, mileage, and price.Even before the car underwent reconditioning or had proper pictures taken,I reached out by email when the car was first listed.Lou was the first to respond, even though it was late on a Sunday. He assured me that he would go over the car's condition with me the following morning,as it had recently been traded in locally.Lou and I talked and video chatted to discuss the state of consumables, service history, and cosmetic condition.Lou impressed me with his straightforward and efficient approach.Together, we identified some cosmetic blemishes.I also inquired about the major service due and whether all keys and books were included.I was skeptical when Lou said "whatever the car needs, we will take care of it" like a sales cliche, little did I know later that Lou truly honored his words.Lou knew exactly what I was looking for and wasted no time in contacting the Porsche sister store to inquire about the major service expenses. He also reached out to the Penske body shop to address the blemishes and arranged for transportation, even offering a discounted price that encompassed all these services. This all happened on the first day, before we started negotiating the price.I found the price fair and agreed, considering the extensive efforts made and the quality of the vehicle compared to the other options. Lou promptly sent me an email confirming the agreement, explaining that it would take some time for the service and bodywork to be completed.I wired the funds a few days later.Throughout the process,Lou consistently displayed excellent communication. He promptly responded to my questions and calls, never resorting to ghosting or providing vague or incomplete answers.Unlike others,Lou diligently read and responded to all details in my emails and texts. As a car enthusiast who has purchased numerous toys(14 within the last five years), I can attest that such experiences are rare to come by,as most were plagued by horror stories.Over the next two weeks,Lou updated me on the car's progress. He sent me receipts and work orders directly from Porsche, outlining the details of the major service. The bodywork was also completed, and Lou went above and beyond by replacing the windshield to address a small chip he later saw. Before shipping the car, we conducted another video chat to ensure everything looked good. The car arrived enclosed via a transport, even delivered late at night per Lou's insistence on meeting his promised timeline.Upon detailed inspection of the car after delivery,I found a few blemishes on the underside that the body shop had missed that were difficult to see.I also realized that some of the factory tools were missing, which both Lou and I had missed. In many past buys, once the payment was made and the car was delivered, sales would be unresponsive or unwilling to provide further assistance, often requiring constant follow-up for months. This was not the case with Lou.I informed him about the issues and he immediately assured me that he would take care of them.He instructed me to take the car to a local body shop for the necessary repairs, and he covered the costs. When our attempts to retrieve the missing tools from the previous owner were unsuccessful,Lou even wrote a personal check to compensate for their absence. While I understand that no used car is perfect,Lou demonstrated a sense of responsibility, efficiency, and a commitment to his promises, ultimately turning what could have been a less-than-ideal into an incredibly positive experience. As someone who is meticulous about cars,I am extremely happy with the purchase and thoroughly impressed with how Lou handled the entire process and provided exceptional after-sales More
