Talk about an unprofessional experience from day one. I was an employee of Autonation too and this is how they treat you. In late October 2021 I brought my 2004 S55 AMG in to have substantial work done to was an employee of Autonation too and this is how they treat you. In late October 2021 I brought my 2004 S55 AMG in to have substantial work done to the motor about 22 hours worth of labor. I pick my car up and bring it back a week later because the alignment was bad afterwards and good when I brought it in. The second go round Jennifer one of the useless advisors there tells me I have to pay for another alignment because something was off with the height sensors for the front end. Paid another 400$ to have it redone and yet again still bad. I drive my vehicle back to the auto shop I work at, put it on a lift and went to inspect the work. While checking the bolts on the subframe of the vehicle I saw that the bolt holding the MOTOR MOUNT was stripped and just spinning. This also points to the alignment not being correct because I have a shifted cradle and play on the motor, it could even cause catastrophic engine damage Obviously I leave the car because at this point it's not safe to drive. Upon contacting Brian Pak the service director he basically told me to kick rocks and that there's no way it was like that and at first suggested for me to DRIVE the car back in unsafe condition so they could determine if it was their fault or not. I use this vehicle to transport my family so ahh dont worry it will probably be okay right?!?! Even through further communication he admitted it should be towed but diddnt offer to pay for the tow or even offer me transportation via a courtesy car or rental, and if they "determined" the issue was my fault even though they were the last ones to touch my car that I would be charged for it! The fact my car was delivered in an unsafe manner and the company not even willing to admit or cover my basic needs I will never recommend anyone in the world who cares about their safety to come here. Today as of 12/2/2021 my car sits in my work bay unable to get me to and from my job, just waiting for someone to do the right thing. More
Worst service ever. Brought in my car 10/01/21 due to dashboard crashed due to water getting in. They diagnosed this and supposedly fixed last year. after 3 weeks without a call from Tom, I called for up dashboard crashed due to water getting in. They diagnosed this and supposedly fixed last year. after 3 weeks without a call from Tom, I called for update. He said nothing has been done yet because he was waiting for insurance information. Never called to follow up at all. Finally got insurance to call them. Another 2 weeks past and again to follow up, so I called. I was then informed they found another issue and waiting for insurance approval. Again never called to follow up. Called on a Thursday and Tom said he got the approval from insurance. Will order the part and will work on getting the car done by Saturday the latest Monday. Monday came and again no call. Called a lot and either the phone just kept ringing or voicemail. No return calls at all. Finally got in touch with him after I have to ask for a manager. "I didn't call because I said I would call if the car is done" That's his excuse. I guess customer service is not important in this dealership. Courtesy calls would have been appropriate. It's 11/22/21 and I still don't have my car. More
