Horrific delivery of new car We have purchased 3 vehicles from Mauro Motors sister dealership, BMW of North Haven. We have enjoyed every experience and have loved our cars and ou We have purchased 3 vehicles from Mauro Motors sister dealership, BMW of North Haven. We have enjoyed every experience and have loved our cars and our service. When we decided to shop for a new car, we opted to switch over to the Mercedes Benz dealer. While the car is gorgeous and we expect wonderful service and performance, our delivery process was a nightmare. First off, we were told to be at the dealership at 3:30. Granted, the salesperson was new but as she was going over features of the car she kept saying " I don't know what that does" or "I'm not sure". If the salesperson didn't know the features of the car then she should have had someone else with her to walk her through the delivery. The next glitch in the delivery process was the "new" finance guy who was a good 2 hours behind schedule. Wait, it gets worse. While we were waiting to do the sales paperwork, the salesperson hit our new car while putting our transferred license plates on the vehicle. After the detail guys buffed out the scratches, and 3 hours of sitting at the dealership, at 6:30 we thought we were ready to leave only to find out that another "new" person in the business office, the registration lady, ordered us new plates instead of our plates being transferred. Now, the plates that were put on the car, resulting in the scratch incident, needed to be removed and new ones installed. We were overcharged for new plates and had to contact DMV to cancel our old ones. After all of this, we got home and realized that they never returned the old plates to us. This is not the experience I expect with ANY car delivery but especially not with a luxury car delivery. More
