Went to the dealership on 6/8/24 to show my wife a used 850i that I saw on a recent bike ride. Upon pulling in the lot, I was approached by Herb Singleton, a former salesman on the month. Herb grabbed the 850i that I saw on a recent bike ride. Upon pulling in the lot, I was approached by Herb Singleton, a former salesman on the month. Herb grabbed the keys and offered me to take a test drive with no hassle (Explains the 2 star rating.) Once in the office, Herb went to his staff for a trade in value on my vehicle. For the review’s purpose, I will leave this out as to not delineate from the complaint. In short, I was not please with their offer, but that has no bearing on this review. The foundation of this complaint is based on the offer sheet provided by Herb and his manager Clay, which shows the base price of the vehicle being reflected at ~ $2,000 over what the price was listed on their own website. Maybe I am missing something as I have not been in the market for a vehicle recently, but to walk in to the dealership, look at a vehicle, and be given an offer sheet for a car that is over $2,000 higher than the list price on the dealer’s website…This just does not appear that the salesman & sales manager are acting in good faith for their clientele! A long saga finally caused me to trade in my beloved 2001 E for a 2014 E. It was a complicated deal, tied to inability to repair the old car (parts).
