I purchased a used vehicle that I was extremely happy about. I asked specific questions regarding the maintenance records and information that was provided on the carfax report. The next my check engine about. I asked specific questions regarding the maintenance records and information that was provided on the carfax report. The next my check engine light came on. I was advised to bring the vehicle in the next and have it looked at and was advised it was the O2 sensor. Take it to the manufacturer dealership its under warranty. I took it to the manufacturer dealership as instructed and was advised it needed a catalytic converter. I understand now why I was sold 4,000 extended warranty. I'm grateful that the repair is being covered, however I am extremely disappointed by the deceptive practices. Especially when I specifically asked questions regarding the vehicle and was assured it was in great condition. Completely disappointed and dissatisfied in the treatment I received cause now I have to pay for a rental car out of pocket while the car I've only had for one full day is being repaired. The response I received was "good thing you got the warranty" Yea, the extra 4,000 warranty. My frustration is I feel like I was lied to and played with just to make a sale and for a high end dealership that's very bad business. More
