Car wasn’t dried up after wash and was soaking wet, interior of the car was more dustier than how it was before service. Foot mats of different seats were interchanged. Unfortunately, this is a negative review based on the lack of effort made by Mercedes Benz of Naperville to properly service and diagnose the issue of my vehicle. I cannot believe that I am still experie lack of effort made by Mercedes Benz of Naperville to properly service and diagnose the issue of my vehicle. I cannot believe that I am still experiencing the same issue as before when I brought it in. I specifically told the advisor what the issue was and when to detect it. I dropped my vehicle off on Monday morning, got it back on Wednesday morning only to discover 2 miles was used on the odometer. Of course you didn’t find the problem because you never drove the vehicle anywhere. So now I’m stuck with the same issue as before. Shame. And not to mention all the rules this place has. It’s completely insane. I’m guessing some people really took this place’s kindness for weakness because they literally charge for everything when you have a loaner. You go out of state, it’s a charge. You don’t bring the vehicle back on the date and time they say, it’s a charge. I literally got a phone call at 6:54pm on Tuesday that my vehicle was ready to be picked up. I was informed that it was mandatory to have the loaner back by 9am on Wednesday. Imagine my surprise being told this last minute in the evening when I have no way to make plans with my job. I told the advisor I would try to be there later in the day, but could not promise due to bad weather conditions. I guess out of “niceness,” I was given 10am to be there as a final alternative. If I was to be late, yep, you guessed it. I would be charged a high amount. I was livid! That is no way to treat customers. Other places do extend their customers some grace by allowing them to return loaners by the end of the day, but not this place. And I was initially told by the advisor that if he called me after 2:30pm, I would have until the end of the next day to return the vehicle and he also informed me of their closing time. But I guess after I declined their costly “recommendations,” that grace and courtesy no longer applied to me. What if my job required a much earlier notice for me being late? This place has zero consideration for its customers and it shows big time. I’m very disappointed in the way I was treated here and it was my first time visiting this location. I took great care of their loaner and filled the gas completely full as I was instructed to do even though the gas tank was not completely full when I first got it. Very disappointed. And like I said, I still have the same problem and I will not be returning here ever again. My vehicle will go elsewhere and I will never recommend this place to anyone. I find the service team here incomparable. I’ve been going there for four years now, and they are really a great bunch of friendly, honest guys. Kevin is an outstanding service manager. He is knowledgeable, competent and affable. He handled all of our questions easily and was more than happy to assist us with our technology questions He is knowledgeable, competent and affable.
