Where do I begin? I brought my car here so that they could look at a recall issue, change out some headlight bulbs that went out, and replace windshield blades. An inspection was completed to see if there were other issues with the car. The dealership had to keep car overnight. When the service advisor called me, he described issues found with the car and forwarded a report. Explained that the right side marker light couldn’t be fixed and needed to have a part. I expected the left low beam that was totally out to be working since they changed the bulb. When I came to pick car up, it was daylight, and the notification of the low beam being out didn’t come on. I thought that the issue was fixed since bulb was replaced. However, later that evening when I needed to leave, I saw that the bulb was still out, therefore I couldn’t go out because it was night. The service advisor didn’t advise me that the issue wasn’t fixed prior to me leaving they dealership. I returned to the dealership the next day and was informed by another service advisor that although the bulb was replaced, further diagnostics was needed. For MB not to inform me that issue was not fixed, prior to me leaving the site was negligent, a bit unethical, and showed me that they did not consider my safety (as I had to drive at night). Not only was there an issue with safety, but I could’ve received a police infraction with the missing headlight. More
Scheduled service went well, loaner sparkled and was ready to go. The start was just as planned. Service was jammed and the maintenance on my vehicle carried on overnight. I recently received two recall notices from Mercedes-Benz USA. One was a software update and the other required a replacement part from M-B. The service scheduler, Connie, verified the part was available before scheduling the repair. After she was sure the part was in house she was able to move up the service date. When I arrived the paperwork was waiting on the service writer's desk, my loaner vehicle was ready and I was out the door in under 30 minutes. The work was completed ASAP, my car was clean and waiting for me and I was back on the road in about 20 minutes. No hassle,, no up-sell, no drama, just professional service. This should happen everywhere. More
