Bought our first MB, a 2006 ML500, from Chris Moran, Nanuet's Internet sales manager. Chris offered competitive pricing and great follow-up, even after the sale was completed. Unfortunately, our ML did not fare as well: several weeks into ownership, a malfunction light appeared on the dash, alerting us to a problem with the car's air suspension. Fortunately, we were able to schedule a service appointment, right away; service even arranged to have a loaner car driven to our home. The diagnosis concluded that a $1 rubber gasket was somehow missed on the assembly line, leading to water corrosion in the car's primary electrical harness, estimated to be a $15,000 repair cost. This would be covered under warranty, of course, but Nanuet, in consultation with MBUSA and with no hesitation or further stress, opted to make us whole and buy the car back, at full value, while procuring a new replacement. We are still in the process of executing the buy-back, but the ease with which the entire remedy has thus far been coordinated, between sales, service and MBUSA, has been nothing short of phenominal, even in the face of such a disappointing event. When such significant problems arise, this, I believe, is all that you can ask of a dealership. I had visited this dealership, in the past, while evaluating some other potential car purchases and, frankly, never thought much of the sales people I was previously subjected to; indeed, some of the aforementioned "sleazy" comments ring true. My experience with Chris, however, in addition to the efforts of the service department, has been amongst the best dealership experiences I can recall. With the caveat that you choose the right salesperson, especially someone, like Chris, if not Chris, himself, I would highly recommend MB of Nanuet. More
