lousy service first the positives- 2 yrs ago I bought a GL- the price was good, but the sales guy seemed ok-- but end of the day, the price was good. now that is w first the positives- 2 yrs ago I bought a GL- the price was good, but the sales guy seemed ok-- but end of the day, the price was good. now that is where it ends. i am up for renewal. they won't call you to remind that you can buy 4-6 months in advance because MB always has deals. Last year when i bought my S class, they would not return my calls- it would be good if they called me and said they cannot sell a S class because they do not have the volume or the color in S class. the worst part of the experience was when I went 2 weeks back- the sales guy gave the usual pitch how the GL is best seller and they don't have many. he showed me 2 that met my specs- but one was on hold as they were waiting for a call back. and magically another demo car - designo white on white GL just came in. he was nice enough to show me the car! and then called me in the evening with a price to lease. I told him let us put a hold and i would come next day and buy it- at a price that works for both of us- he calls me (or actually texted me) saying that someone sold the car. first of all- extremely unprofessional when you hold a car for someone and then you sell the car i put a hold to someone else. that is inconsistency. secondly, you do not pull in a policy saying dealership does not have a policy to hold cars. overall- extremely unprofessional and inconsistent. They need to train their sales guys to be more relationship builders- the sales guys seem uptight and try to remain esoteric. going to Rallye motors in long island or princeton MB is better- they are at least more friendlier and make it a more pleasant experience. after all you are buying a 100K car! When the economy crash Acura Stop building cars and it took longer than normal to get my car. Chris called me every day no matter what to update me with a status. For that we became close friends and still are to this day. He gives me advice on cars anytime I call him. Chris now works at Morristown Mercedes-Benz please stop by and see him if you want a honest and upfront salesmen. More
My husband and I went to buy a car Friday, S Class we were interested in. We walked around the dealership for 20 minutes trying to seek help. Finally the receptionist asked if we needed a sales person were interested in. We walked around the dealership for 20 minutes trying to seek help. Finally the receptionist asked if we needed a sales person. We asked her if one was available. She phone Mr. Scott Kaufman in his office to ask him if he could help us and he said no- After about 5 minutes, we informed the receptionist that we were leaving and Mr. Kaufman walked out of his office only to ask the receptionist if she was able to find a sales person for us. Please note that Mr. Kaufmanwas not on the phone when the receptionist asked him to help us, he was in the office laughing with other personnel. I told Mr. Kaufman that his lack of professionalism and willing to help was disappointing. After that we went to the BMW dealership and purchased a 750il. Thanks Mercedes- Benz! More

Morristown Mercedes has been nothing but accommodating to getting me into a brand new CLA lease. Everyone was very professional and very easy to make a deal with, it only took us one visit to sign all the getting me into a brand new CLA lease. Everyone was very professional and very easy to make a deal with, it only took us one visit to sign all the paper work and agree on a price, probably one of the easiest experiences we have ever had. Jose was very knowledgable about the car, Phil was not hassling us to buy any after market materials just plain simple and easy! Like every car purchase should be. More
BEWARE of having your car serviced at Mercedes Benz of Morristown. My car has been stolen from THREE times at this dealership; I even filed a police report when I picked up my car this last time on 9/10/1 Morristown. My car has been stolen from THREE times at this dealership; I even filed a police report when I picked up my car this last time on 9/10/13. I contacted the owner, Bill Straus, who was condescending and disrespectful. He even asked me why he should believe me that there was money stolen out of my car on three different service appointments. Bill Straus and Herman Diaz, the Service Manager, are not only not customer service oriented but they are combative and unwilling to do what is right by the customer. Bill Straus’ solution was a $150 service credit at his dealership - because after all of this, that is the first place I would want to take my car back to for service after paying $384 in labor to be stolen from for a third time (my total service was $694.40 for Service B). Bill Straus at Mercedes of Morristown is "the best or nothing" at its finest. More
I brought my S-Class here for service one time and it was horrendous. My car had been hit by a deer, so we brought it here for service just this once because they had a body shop. The service was horrible. horrendous. My car had been hit by a deer, so we brought it here for service just this once because they had a body shop. The service was horrible. When we got the car back, the bodywork was good, but it had huge problems when we got it back. When we got the car back, the AC wasn't working! The whole climate control was very close to being dead! We never had these issues prior to bringing it to Mercedes-Benz of Morristown. So, we brought it back to the dealership to have them fix it, and they claimed that they fixed it, but it still wasn't working. I believe it took 4 tries until they actually fixed it. Keep in mind that we had not had this issue prior to servicing the car there, and even after being hit by the deer, the car climate control worked perfectly. This only happened after having bodywork done and servicing it at Morristown. The fact that it happened in the first place is unacceptable for a Mercedes-Benz at a Mercedes-Benz Dealership, but even more the fact that it took 4 different visits is unacceptable, the quality of work is horrible, and I will never go back here again. I have always serviced and purchased all my Benz's at Mercedes-Benz of Bridgewater and they are much better in all respects (even if they send you somewhere else for the body work, it's well worth it. The service is also amazing there. See my other review). Please don't use this dealership, the quality of work, customer service, and my overall experience were horrible, if not unacceptable. More
Mercerdes of Morristown has no quality control. 7/30/2013 I brought in my CLS63, AMG for two rear tires and an alignment. It took three days and they damaged one rim. They stole 9 quarters out of 7/30/2013 I brought in my CLS63, AMG for two rear tires and an alignment. It took three days and they damaged one rim. They stole 9 quarters out of the ash tray (there were exactly 20 quarters for parking at the train station) and went for a joy ride in my car. The mileage they recorded as the after service mileage, was 5 miles less then when I received the car back. When I dropped off my car my SA was not there. So they sat me at his desk to wait. After all of the other customers that were behind me in line were taken care of , another SA helped me. It was only a 10 minute wait, but I arrived 15 minutes early so I could get in and out quickly. The last service issue I had took four visits to resolve. The GPS would cut out as I drove for 3 to 5 minutes. On the fourth visit it was repaired. I presently own an Audi, two Fords, a BMW and this Mercedes. I have had great service at every other dealership, I expected quality service from Mercedes. Morristown BMW continues to exceed my expectations. More
This was easily the best car buying experience we've ever had. Working with the Mr. Cohen (salesman) was calm, polite and very fast. What we expected to be a several hour, frustrating experience with all t had. Working with the Mr. Cohen (salesman) was calm, polite and very fast. What we expected to be a several hour, frustrating experience with all the usual "talks to the manager", lasted barely 45 minutes. Most of that time was settling details of the sale rather than fencing over price. We were very impressed with this dealership, and have recently had a very satisfying experience with the service group as well. Usually I dislike dealing with dealerships but Mercedes Benz of Morristown has a life long customer now. More
