Julio is always courteous and professional and I’ve never had a “blanket” answer from Julio regarding questions. He is very specific and technical in his answers and has steered away from unnecessary work. As I said earlier, the facility is VERY comfortable with lots of personal space as well as high quality amenities such as beverages and snacks. The administrative staff has also been extremely pleasant and courteous. While I don’t “want” to go there, but, whenever I need to, it is always a pleasant experience. More

Trunk kept opening by itself!!!! Customer Service I own a MB E350A year 2012 - 63,042 miles I called MB, Morristown, Nj Service department to request an appointment for service on A Customer Service I own a MB E350A year 2012 - 63,042 miles I called MB, Morristown, Nj Service department to request an appointment for service on April 4, 2019. The trunk of my car kept opening by itself for two consecutive days. I will go to the supermarket, came back the trunk was opened. Went to the gym, came back to my car and the trunk was opened. When I came home I will put the car in the garage. Leave the keys in the car and the following morning I will find the trunk opened. The main reason to take my car to MB Morristown, Nj was because the trunk keep opening. I couldn’t leave it any place because when I came back to it I will find the trunk opened. So when I made the appointment for service at 8:00am for Friday, April 5 they asked if I had other issues with the car. Thinking that if they will fix the problem with the trunk they might also check a problem that I had with the “blower on the driver seat INOP” wasn’t working, but the passenger one was. They kept my car all day. Around 4pm I called to find out that they didn’t find any reason why the trunk kept opening. I was very disappointed to hear that. They also told me that to fix the “blower on the driver seat will cost me about $200. I declined to fix the blower because the real reason to bring my car to service was for the trunk. So I went to pick it up, when I got there I transferred some things from the rental car to the trunk of my car. Shut the trunk and they directed me to the cashier. I got the big surprise that MB was charging me $228.71. I paid and went to my car. When I got to my car surprisingly the trunk was opened. I went to tell the service guy Willie so he said to shut it and wait to see what happen. Nothing happened! So then I decided to go home. 5 minutes into driving home a message on the panel shows up telling me that I needed to change my car’s key battery. On my way home I stopped at Staples, bought 2 batteries for $7. I came back to my car, I found the trunk opened again. At that point I was so upset and disappointed with MB thinking that they kept my car all day, charged me $228.71 and I was still having the issue with the trunk! I decided to change the battery right there before I started to drive home. The weekend passed and the trunk never opened by itself again! The following Monday first thing in the morning on April 8 I called MB talked to the Service Dept Manager Rob to let him know that I thought I found out why the trunk kept opening. I explained to him that I changed a new key battery. I also told him how disappointed and aggravated I felt that it had to be me and not MB that had to find the problem about my car. He told me that he was going to investigate what happened. No one called me back that day. I called him the following day and left a message to call me back. Willie called me back to tell me that they will give me credit for what they charged me for the estimate I paid for the trunk issue. I requested to get credit for the whole bill that was $228.71. They told me they will not do that. That they put their time to check on the “blower”. I told them that the only reason I took my car to them was because of the trunk, I couldn’t drive my car anywhere. They said that wasn’t their problem, that they took the time checking for the blower, so they won’t give me a credit for that. I am very disappointed with MB Morristown. They told me that they never heard of any issue was ever solved by changing the key’s battery. I’m thinking that I have probably solved a big dilema to MB finding out where the problem was. I have goggled that problem. I’ve seen the same problem has happened before to other people. I need someone to respond to me why MB didn’t take in account all the aggravation that I went through and issue a credit of the whole amount. I am so disappointed with them that if I have to rate them for their Customer Service, I will give them a “0” and I won’t deal with them again! Elena More
