Come to find out I have been paying top dollar dealership pricing for below basic level of maintenance services. I have been coming to this dealership since I moved to McKinney four years ago. I was super excited about it since it is five min up the road and a beautiful new facility. The initial experience with my service provider was very lack luster and just not the level of service I was use to receiving in Houston or any of the other cities I lived but I digress. I was able to link with a new advisor that was positive, polite, charismatic great! I had him as my advisor for a few years, I thought he was on top of things. Well turns out NO…it’s a facade and fluffing to cover the poor quality of service actually being provided. I had been consistently going to this dealership for every maintenance , issue, etc. we’ll come to find out I have been behind on a tuneup service for the past THREE years! The amount of mileage and wear and tear I have been unknowingly putting on my tuneup needing vehicle is mind boggling. The amount of times that this was overlooked is just down right neglectful all with the most pleasant smile, luxury dealership markup your money can buy. The pure inadequacy of everyone there for this to have been going on for three years about eight visits. Once notified I realize how damaging that must have been on my vehicle. I ask to speak with a manager. Who proceeds to pass the buck, it was old service advisors…the reason they are gone… then he goes along the line of my advisor must not have wanted to upsell me. With basic car maintenance? The same advisor that told me of brake replacement, pad replacement, etc? After stating that the advisor could have just covered it up. I was done! I guess the manager assumed I would like a discount so he states that it is an option as if this was some type of favor for the gross neglect of my vehicle. The damage that their dealership has done to my vehicle not having been properly maintained. He offered me $500 off of a 3K service. I initially agree def and thought on it to a hot moment and decided to pick my vehicle up and take my business elsewhere. I will clearly be needing a new vehicle since mine is now trashed out! More
Stephen, the Service Manager at your dealership, was amazing today. My wife's C300 had a failing battery. After I was told the earliest available appointment was tomorrow morning, Stephen stepped in and amazing today. My wife's C300 had a failing battery.
