My wife and I began shopping for a new luxury SUV, and had already looked at Audi, BMW, Cadillac and Infinity before we went to Mercedes-Benz of Massapequa. After browsing for a while we met sales consultant Hank Woloz who showed us the different models they offer. We quickly decided the ML350 was the truck that we wanted and he pulled up some vehicles he had in stock. We went thru the available options and Hank put together the costs to lease a 2013 we picked out, but it was a little beyond what we wanted to spend. I then asked him about a 2010 ML350 I saw in the back earlier and we discussed the benefits of buying a Certified Pre owned vehicle. The truck was immaculate and we negotiated a deal within minutes, only to find that someone had already placed a deposit on that one. Although we were very disappointed, Hank assured us that he would find another ML that we would love just as much. We broadened our search for the ML350 to other dealers in the area, and even test drove a 2010 with low miles at another dealership. Unfortunately, we were presented with a price which was much higher than we expected, and their value of our trade-in was also $2K less than Hank was offering. After a few more days (and my wife growing very impatient) Hank found a 2011 ML350 with low miles and lots of extra options we hadn’t even planned on getting. He was able to get the price where it needed to be and we are now the proud owners of our 1st Mercedes-Benz. During the whole process, Hank made us feel very relaxed and comfortable, and there were never any high pressure sales tactics. Aja Dewling, the finance manager was also very nice and low key. She offered us the additional options (extended warranty, maintenance package, etc…), but did not push at all when we declined. After we took the truck home, we discovered there was a problem with the rear DVD player. Well, Hank was all over it! He had us bring the car down late on a Saturday afternoon so he could personally take a look at it, even though the service department was closed, showing us that even though the sale was done he still cared that we were fully satisfied. First thing Monday morning we received a call from the service department to set up an appointment to address the issue. More

I went into Mercedes Benz recently to see my lease end options. I had leased a 2010 Mercedes GLK and my lease was up in approx. 2 months. When I went in to see Tod Foster (who had set up my first lease back in 2010) I was unsure if I was staying with Mercedes, only because I was pregnant, purchasing a new home and was totally confused on which car/truck would be best for my work and growing family. Within 1 hour, I had my next Mercedes Benz picked out, chose a color and options and was ready to sign! I felt 100% secure with my decision and even learned how Mercedes airbags beat the rest as far as safety!! With my incredibly busy schedule, it was such a pleasure to have such a smooth transaction. My favorite part about the entire deal was the interaction between customer and salesman. Everything was explained to me in detail and with a Smile which goes a long way in the sales business! I was debating on getting a BMW or Mercedes. The choice was between a 3series sedan or c class sedan. I have leased a C300 and ML350 from this dealer with in ten days period. For the C300 I work with a different team, and I wasn't very happy with their response. For the ML350 I worked primarily with Lauren and her manager Kevin. Lauren is a true professional, very responsive, knowledgeable and without being pushy. I will recommend prospecting buyers to request her specifically. Sometimes if you call or email you might be bounced around the “team” and nobody really takes ownership of the opportunity. Also Kevin is always willing to work with you and closes the deal. - Mike More
