I purchased a Tesla through Mercedes-Benz of Marietta (Auto-Nation) in March 2022. Jacob Howerton was the sales representative. I drove in from out of town, the sale went relatively smoothly but the follow up has been problematic. Jacob was unsure of the information that South Carolina needed for the title transfer which delayed me getting a title and a new plate. This delay kept me from transferring my old license plate to my new car which triggered sales tax in 2022 instead of 2023. When I purchased the car it only had one key fob and I was told that a new key would be sent to me at no charge. After lots of different stories and 4 weeks, I learned that a Tesla Rep would have to come to the house and program a new key but that was told this would be prepaid by Mercedes. I arranged for the Tesla rep to come to the house and had new key made but I had to pay $175 to get the key. I sent the invoice to Jacob on April 26, 2022 and he reassured me that I would be reimbursed. Ten emails later and multiple phone calls and still no resolution, just excuses. Jacob's lack of attention to detail and poor follow through have soured this purchase experience. I would expect a lot more from Mercedes Benz / Auto Nation when purchasing at 90K dollar car. Would not recommend this dealer. More
I have owned many luxury brand autos over the years and this is my first experience with Marietta Mercedes. I have brought the car in several times for minor issues, oil, tires, etc and my service rep Terry has always gone above and beyond to help me. I live 2 hours from the dealership and he is always respectful of my time and puts up with me whining about needing a loaner and always delivers. Service is timely and car is always returned clean and with repairs done. Can't thank this group enough! More
