I just got a car today, the new member in the Mercedes Benz family, CLA 2014!! Oh boy I am so happy! Anytime there is a referral I will definitely check it out! Let me tell you, It was a wonderful experience from the moment I stepped into the lobby! I was helped by Kevin Marlowe who is such a great addition to the Laguna Nigel's dealership. He is very knowledgable, straight forward, sweet, and informative with every crevice and corner in helping me, as a customer, understand all that I need to know. Because of Kevin, I really enjoyed my experience car shopping. Since it was my first time looking into a luxury car, I got more information then I could ask for. There were great deals, plans/goals for my leasing. It was really easy to process my paper work and I even needed to get new insurance so Kevin helped me get that done. Such patience the staff had! All of my questions were answered. I got to review the numbers through the computer and even played around with different options to see my pricing for my car -- not a moment did I feel confused and if I was uncertain, I was explained in detail the importance of things. I always take my Mercedes to Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel for servicing. The staff there are friendly, courteous and highly professional. I might add that I have closer choices, but my experience at those places left me w/ the impression that they were 'doing me a favor' not the other way around. Over the years, Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel employees: Scott Parry, Bob Bos and Matt Novik have never disappointed me. I highly recommend this dealership for all of your Mercedes' needs! More
So went into this dealership to check out one of their pre-owned vehicles. Upon approaching the showroom I was greeted by a salesman like normally. I told the salesman I had seen a used 2005 Acura TL onli pre-owned vehicles. Upon approaching the showroom I was greeted by a salesman like normally. I told the salesman I had seen a used 2005 Acura TL online and wanted to take a look at it. I'm 20 years old, looking to buy a car with money that i have been working for for years. After proceeding to examine the vehicle, i politely asked the salesman if I could test drive it. I have been to Inifiniti, Acura, BMW, and all of those dealerships would let me drive the cars they had that I was interested in, and looking to purchase. (ALONE) I did the usual drill gave my license to the salesman, and he went in to run it. On his way back to find me on the lot, he had told me his manager said I looked to young to test drive the car, and I was not going to be able to. Then proceeded to tell me to bring my mother down so i could test drive a car that I, myself was purchasing, with a valid drivers license of 4 years. I brushed that off my shoulder, while the salesman asked If i would like to ride in it with him driving, better than nothing right? After the ride i wanted to start working numbers with the guy, he started giving me this BS estimated rate on his phone with some app, wasn't even willing to take me inside, talk to his manager, nothing. Probably because the manager respected me about as much as the salesman did. He ran numbers with me while I sat in the passenger seat of a car that I wanted to purchase. Then gave me some estimated rate on his cell phone for my offer rather than actually go inside and try to sell me a vehicle. I have never been treated with such disrespect. I expected way better treatment especially from a MB dealership. This dealership treated me as if my money wasn't good enough for them. Not interested in the car anymore, solely based off of their offensive, demeaning treatment. My mother did happen to purchase a Used CLS 550 with 15,000 miles from them as well back in 04, when she went to sell it in 07, carmax told her the car had a salvage title attached to it. No accidents on her record and had never been informed of the title. Guess second chances are over rated. Not ever dealing with MBLN ever again and don't recommend them to any other local residents of Dana Point/ Laguna Niguel, or future Mercedes Benz owners. Go to Fletcher Jones of Newport, save some dignity. More
Made a last minute call for a car seen online and spoke to Amir. It was late sunday around 5:15pm, but Amir said come on down and at least check it out. I said OK and was over there to test drive the used car. The car was incorrectly advertised (used car) as manual while it was actually automatic, and this actually got me a little mad. But, with Amir's professionalism, and his dedication to "making it right" for what he admitted was their mistake, I gave them a shot. Normally this would be a 1-star review if it ended here, but Amir actually made good on his promise to make it right and really really surprised me with his level of professionalism and dedication to my needs. I wasn't that bent out of shape over manual vs auto in this case, and test drove the car and it really was above and beyond all other cars I was looking at from other dealers in terms of packages and overall quality. It seems that MBLN only takes in cream of the crop trades or only sells excellent trades, and this car was proof. Well, we went in, and Amir was pretty straight up with me about how much they paid on trade, how much went into reconditioning, and how much they were "packing" the service department cost. This is a high level of professionalism in my opinion because it showed that he appreciated my knowledge and respected me enough to cut to the main issues instead of dancing around it and keeping me there all night. He made me a deal that I would never had imagined, and got me into finance and on the road with my new (used!) car in about 2hrs total! This was a great experience for me since I spent many hours in dealerships over the past few weeks. Highly recommend MBLN and Amir! More
I have a very low opinion of Mercedes Benz of Laguna Niguel--the service department in particular. I bought a 2012 E350 convertible from this dealership Feb. 2012. The car developed a rumble. I took it Niguel--the service department in particular. I bought a 2012 E350 convertible from this dealership Feb. 2012. The car developed a rumble. I took it in for service. They balanced the front wheels. I took the car back for the same problem. They kept the car for about a week. This time they replaced the front right tire. Again, I had to take the car back for the same problem. This time, the kept it for 4 weeks. The solution, they balanced the front wheels. However, the rumble was gone. In total, the had the car for 6 weeks and the service was balancing the front wheels. I decided to drive the car to work for a while. I drove it 4 days, about 150 miles total. On the fourth day, as I was driving north on Pacific Coast highway, the car began to rumble. I thought the rumble was back. But it got increasingly worse so I slowed the car and stopped along the curb. As it turned out, all five lug nuts were missing from the left rear wheel and the car was resting directly on that wheel. There was minimal physical damage to the vehicle. With the exception of cosmetic wheel repair in 2012, all other service to this car was done exclusively through Mercedes Benz of Laguna Niguel. I'll let you draw your own conclusion. I discussing the matter with the dealership's general manager, he stated that the damage was not consistent with my scenario and that he did not believe that the wheel came off the car. I've had a number of other issues with this dealership, but none so serious. I will not say that they forgot to tighten the lug nuts. Like I said before, I'll let you draw your own conclusion. More
