I have purchased slightly used Mercedes Benz (2003 & 1999 E Class) in the past and have enjoyed owning the cars. Unfortunately, my local Mercedes dealership AND Mercedes Corp. have never recognized me as a "good" customer because I did not buy, nor service my MB's thru the dealership ... so, I had decided not to support the brand any longer. When our financial advisor suggested my wife lease a new car for her Real Estate business, I must say, I cringed a bit knowing I would have to walk into a dealership again. We narrowed the choices to Cadillac, Audi, Jaguar, and, as a last resort, ... you guessed it ...Mercedes Benz. We did our due diligence ... test drove all of the above ... and as it turned out, the wife's 1st choice was the E350 MB. I took advantage of the Costco New Car Program, discussed options via numerous emails with Kekoa & Dustin ... just to ensure my 4 hour round trip commute to the dealership was not in vain ... we reside in the Palm Springs area. When we arrived at the dealership last Saturday afternoon, we were greeted by Alex K. who seemed genuinely concerned about ensuring the leasing of the new car be a positive experience. Alex introduced us to Bernie M. who wasted no time showing my wife the choices available. Three hours later (I understand buying a new car takes an average of 5 hours) we headed home with a new E350. My MANY Thanks to Bernie M. ... for having the patience to allow my wife to change her mind a few times (against my better judgment ... she opted for black) and getting us thru the paperwork so quickly and making the process so "painless", to Alex K ... for making my wife and I feel like we are customers worth having! ... to Kekoa & Dustin, for their initial responses to my quote requests, and their instance that our trip to their dealership would be worth while. I never had such experience in any dealership before, actually it felt like I have always been buying my cars from them. My husband brought his car here for service for the first time on the recommendation of a friend. We have been long time customers of Fletcher Jones, but after our experience here we will be moving our busi time on the recommendation of a friend. We have been long time customers of Fletcher Jones, but after our experience here we will be moving our business to Laguna Niguel. Scott Parry was our service manager and he was OUTSTANDING. After checking our car in he had a loaner car ready for us to take with no wait. Our car was ready when promised and the whole process was great experience. We had a great experience with our salesman David Gonzales. He was low pressure, and worked to get us into the car we wanted at a price we could afford. Our finance manager Jane that did the paper work on the deal was okay. We purchased the extended warranty, gap, and the DuPont interior protection. Nobody told us how to get the DuPont protection done, and I got passed around the dealership as nobody seemed to know what to do. I was then told I needed to figure it out with Jane since she sold me the service. She wasn't available, but Lee in service scheduled the service and said he would verify the purchase of the service. Dropping off the car and getting a loaner was easy. The courtesy vehicle fleet is very nice and is a fantastic benefit. When I picked up the car they said it was all good. When I got home and went to exit the car I discovered someone had mistakenly marked on the driver side interior arm rest with an ink pen. I had to drive back to the dealer wasting my time and fuel to get this corrected. They removed the ink mark and seemed embarrassed that it happened. I got a call from the service manager who was very apologetic about the mistake . He offered me a complementary detail and tank of gas. The next day I took my car to the service department. The detail manager was very nice and recommended that I wait a few months for the full detail service since the car was new. They washed the car, vacuumed it, and filled it up with gas. I appreciate the dealership extending me the gas a detail as it shows they value my business and truly want customers to have a great experience. So far I'm very pleased to have purchased our first Mercedes Benz in Laguna Niguel, and I would highly recommend working with David. More
