Frank Cardwell is awesome. We bought a pre-owned Hyundai from him a few weeks ago. He was very prompt to answer all questions we had. He was respectful, professional, and kind. Also Jessica Who does the paperwork at the dealership was also very helpful in making this a seamless experience. Would definitely work with Frank again should I come across another vehicle in Tennessee at their dealership that I would want to purchase thanks so much for the great experience love the car and look forward to working again in the future!! I don't recommend for service!! Take your car to an independent Benz mechanic!! I inherited an old vehicle that had been sitting around. I took it to them early, for my appointment, and they didn't get to it as scheduled. Didn't answer, and didn't immediately return my call after I called to see what the hold up was. When I got the inspection checklist, it said everything was good but it wasn't, so they clearly just filled it out without inspecting the car. At pick up, they said they only work on newer Mercedes and that one of the parts I knew I needed, was no longer available. Waste of time and money to be lied to on a checklist and find out what I already knew. I'll never go back there again, nor shop there. Two stars because I had been to their repair and body shop (the collision center is a separate part of the property) years ago, and they work on all makes and models and they did a decent job on a honda for me. More
After a lot of research, I made an appointment to test drive a 2021 GLA. I texted with Brandon over a couple of days so they were expecting us. We drove two hours with a cash deposit to buy the car. We had to wait outside for awhile and when Brandon finally brought it to the front of the dealership, it was very dirty! Not just dirty on the outside, but there was McDonalds trash on the floor inside...cups, napkins, etc., and some type of food on the front passenger seat. Not a good start. Then the car actually had over twice as many miles as advertised. (It was a 2021, but had been a service loaner.) I was annoyed, and actually thought of leaving, but Brandon said they had another one. It was also dirty, but not as bad, and it had way more miles than advertised as well. I went to buy a car so I made a very fair offer based on my research. Brandon said he would check with the sales manager. He came back and told us that WE would have to pay for it to be a certified used vehicle (even though THEY misrepresented the mileage on their website), and it also had an open recall so even if we bought it, we couldn't take it with us. That was another annoyance since I specifically told Brandon that I wanted to come on Saturday so that my husband could drive one of the vehicles home. On top of all of that, they had not come down on the price. In fact, if we paid to have it certified, it would be more! Obviously we said no and left. The sales manager then called and offered to sell if for a whopping $1,000 less than the original price. No. We expected much better of Mercedes. In fact, we went to Knoxville because other people had said there was good service there. I don't know what happened to that great service because I've bought several brand new cars, and honestly I've never had a worse experience. I absolutely plan to buy a GLA, but it won't be in Knoxville. More
