Nice atmosphere, friendly non pressure environment. I wish there would be a section of tea at the beverage area. It was a very special purchase to me and Carolyn was very sweet and attentive! I had a terrible experience when I first arrived at the dealership by Sam (sales) who basically told me that since it was the end of the month, he really had no time to waste on showing me around, and if I dealership by Sam (sales) who basically told me that since it was the end of the month, he really had no time to waste on showing me around, and if I was not ready and set on a car then I must come back later. he also lied to me about inventory and told me that they had nothing other than what they had out there in their showroom. but luckily when I was walking around the show room to see what inventory y’all had, another associate asked me if I wanted any help, I instantly thought to ask him again about inventory since I can already tell by Sam's attitude that he thought he wouldn’t make a sale out of me, and he really wanted me out of there, so I assumed that he probably wouldn’t have been honest about the inventory, to my surprise I was not wrong. the other sales guy informed me that they had some E class in the garage upstairs and he immediately offered to call someone to take me upstairs to show me the inventory. At that point I went and stood by front desk until someone come to take me upstairs. Sam walks by again and he asks me right away if I was able to find anything I liked in their show room. I told him I still wanted to look for more inventory and to test drive the E class and a 5 series to see which one I really wanted. At this point Sam got frustrated and told me “Ma’am it doesn't really work like that. it’s the end of the month and I don’t have time so unless you have a specific car in mind, I must ask you to come back later.” at this point I got really annoyed because it felt like he was trying to kick me out. I told him since making his sale was the only priority to him then he needs to call someone else who is there to help. and I told him that I am now aware of the fact that they have inventory of the E-class and since he straight up lied to me, I need to work with someone else. He gets up right away and tells me yes for sure go back to the front desk they will help you over there. At this point I’m in complete shock. This was the first dealership I stop by, and he was the first sales guy that I ever deal with so you can only imagine how my experience is going so far. I went from thinking this will be a fun and exciting day since I’m gifting myself the car as my birthday present. to feeling really unwelcomed and judged by someone who just wanted to make everyone's life's miserable for some reason. I walk back to the front desk thinking that Sam informed someone else to come help me, but I walk up to them, and they have no idea why I’m there. so, I told them that Sam told me to come back here so you guys can find me someone else who can help. At that point everyone is confused. Which made me more frustrated because of the way I was being treated. they walk back to Sam's desk to ask him what’s going on, so Sam walks back my way and asks me who told me about the inventory they had upstairs and to give him a description of the person. I told him that it shouldn’t be his problem who told me it should be why he lied to me. and since he is being so rude and did not apologize for his lies and attitude not once, I asked to speak to the manager. at this point Sam walked away and started side conversations with his coworkers as he's walking off and disappeared for the rest of the day. While I was waiting for the manager to show up El walks by and takes control and offers to help. I explain the situation to him and then we went straight into looking at the inventory. what really bothered me was the lack of responsibility and accountability and that no one wanted to apologize or hold their coworker accountable. When I asked for a manager, everyone acted that they were looking for him, but he never came out. El was patient and he tried to help, and I did appreciate that. Since I wasn’t trying to ruin the rest of my day, I decided to give them a chance and so we looked at a couple of other cars and I told them I want to go visit another dealership I had in mind and if I don’t like anything there then I’ll come back and purchase a car from them. I ended up reserving the car that I liked online texted El to inform him that I reserved a car and that I will be there Tuesday to test drive it and make a purchase if all goes well. he told me he will be ready for me, so I go to my appointment and after waiting on the car El comes back with the news that his manager just informed him that the car was sold over the weekend. I got frustrated but I tried to stay positive. I just don’t understand why there is so much lack of communication among the dealership and why they had allowed me to reserve the car in the first place if it was already sold, and why they contacted me regarding reservation to make sure that I was going to show up. I got so many phone calls and text messages confirming my reservation. How come with doing all of that no one was able to realize that the car is not even available? I wasn’t very surprised because up until that point nothing really was dealt with professionally. El helps me look at inventory they have again hoping we can find something and then we find a white E class and I decide to test drive it. and of course, El comes back and tells me that his manager is very frustrated because they sold that car 20 days ago, but it still shows that its available online and they also " forgot to give the customer his second key that's why they thought they had the car" As we continue looking at the inventory and we find an E class that I test drove the first time I was there. I test drove the car again and decided that I liked it. even though it was worth 10k more than the car I was planning on buying that same day. now that I’ve had the car for about 2 weeks. I haven’t had any problems with the car other than a crack I noticed in the front camera. I noticed the crack a day after I got the car, so I decided to text El about it, he told me they'll look at it the next time I come in. I didn’t think much of it just because I thought there’s is no way they'll give me a hard time over it since I know for a fact, I got the car like that. and that it should be an easy fix according to El because he said the crack is just on the shield that protects the camera. I went to the dealership the other day and El told me that he spoke to his manager, and they need to check with the technician to see if I really bought the car like that or if happened after. I’m not sure how that information was not available to access right away and how would I have known for sure that they even noticed the crack before I bought the car? El couldn’t even notice it when I sent him the picture of it the first time so it could be that they never paid attention to it since it’s not the obvious. El texted me over the weekend telling me he is still waiting on the technician to respond. I hope I don’t get disappointed again because I don’t want to regret that fact that I came to a Certified dealership thinking I’m getting the best out of the best but getting the complete opposite. I’ll write an update whenever they give me an answer. More
