This is my third Mercedes purchase and I was disappointed with the overall experience. I will say the brightest part of the process was Muhammad Khan. His interaction with us was what we have experienced in with the overall experience. I will say the brightest part of the process was Muhammad Khan. His interaction with us was what we have experienced in the past. He was friendly, attentive and got things done. It is unfortunate that because of, what I call "salesman politics", he had to share this transaction with Don Morales. Mr. Morales was what Mr. Khan was not. Morales answered our initial inquiry by following up with an email on 4/1 at 7:09am, where he asked our preferred mode of communication. I emailed him back at 8:11, that we preferred texting and asked for additional photos of the vehicle before making the over 3 hour trip to the dealership. I forgot to include my phone number in the original email so I sent him another email at 8:12 with the contact number. Then I didn't hear from him again until 4/5 by email. I did call and leave a message on his voice mail at about 10:30 but didn't hear from him. When I did not hear from him, I sent another inquiry to the dealership at around 3:00 4/1. That is when Mr. Khan contacted me. He took care of us. He explained that he would send additional pictures when the vehicle was ready. He explained that the vehicle was not quite ready as it was in the body shop and in the process of completing the pre-sale inspection and would be ready during the following week. He gave me pricing on the vehicle, sent me the link to value my trade in, put a hold on the vehicle, sent me the paperwork I needed to sign and had me send him the information needed to complete the majority of the transaction. We were very pleased with Mr. Khan throughout the process. Mr. Morales contacted us via email again on 4/5. I asked him to call us. I explained to him that Mr. Khan was assisting us with this purchase and had already taken care of us because he hadn't responded to us (if you want more detail on this you can contact me). He then explained that he and Mr. Khan would be sharing transaction. He took over from there. He checked on the vehicle and said it would be complete that day and he would send pictures which he did. I told him we already had our financing and Mr. Khan had everything else done other than having our trade in evaluated when we got there. I again explained to Mr. Morales that we lived over 3 hours away so I could not just come down to the dealership. When asked when I could come in, I explained I had a medical procedure scheduled for the morning of 4/6 and we were going to Arkansas on 4/7 for the weekend so it may have to wait until Monday the 10th unless I could get my appointment moved later in the day on 4/6. He told me he would have to get authorization to hold the car until Monday so I told him I would try to get the appointment moved later in the day. I contacted him later and told him I was able to move the appointment to 4:00pm but I HAD to leave by 12:00 to make it back in time. He said he would do everything to make sure we were done by then. He said the vehicle would be detailed and ready. I sent him everything else he said he needed to move all this along. We set the appointment for 10:00 4/6. We arrived at 9:30 and after a short wait met with Mr. Morales who showed us the car and we went on a test drive. Mr. Morales then introduced us to Mr. Khan to complete the rest of the process. He said he was going to get the vehicle detailed and gassed up. Mr. Khan asked him "it hasn't been detailed" and Mr. Morales basically said not yet. That was a bit concerning as the vehicle was supposed to be ready to go and Mr. Morales knew we were short on time. Mr. Khan took care of us from there on he was great. We were a little late getting out of there so we couldn't follow up with some concerns about the vehicle. Highly disappointed we only got one key and have to purchase another (never this issue with our previous purchases) and the poor detail job done on the car. I’ve owned vehicles from a few brands including a couple of luxury brands… MB by far and in specific Brigitt and the service department at MB Greenway are just SUPERIOR! They just don’t tell you things need of luxury brands… MB by far and in specific Brigitt and the service department at MB Greenway are just SUPERIOR! They just don’t tell you things need fixing or replacing THEY SHOW YOU! Texts, pictures, video impressive with on going and post-service reports detailing everything done and the ability to pay an invoice digitally is awesome! Makes checkout a breeze! I get a loaner and I’ve more than once gotten to drive a newer model with some impressive features that tempt me to want to upgrade… maybe in the near future but I’m loving zipping around town in my C300 coupe too much still!
