My recent visit to the service department was excellent. I was a last minute walk-in appointment and Gabrielle P., service advisor, accepted my case. From the start, she listened to my concerns and confirmed my repair request. Everyone promises a loaner and makes excuses but Gabrielle came through and I received mine a day later. I forgot my keys and remote and gave a call to Gabrielle who was away from her desk but encouraged me to stop by. I did and sure enough, my keys and remote were waiting for me at her desk. Kudos to the technicians who provided a video and explained what repairs needed to be done now and in the near future which I found to be very helpful. Great job! This trip to the Mercedes dealer was great and Gabrielle’s efforts and professionalism was outstanding! Thank you for the wonderful experience and taking out the stress that comes with servicing your car. More

Our sales rep Marc was awesome. He was knowledgeable and helped us every step of the way to make our transition from one Benz to another seamless and easy. Went there for what should have been a easy washer reservoir replacement and ended up having to go back 2 times because the techs are lazy and did poor testing and service. I am a ASE certified mecha reservoir replacement and ended up having to go back 2 times because the techs are lazy and did poor testing and service. I am a ASE certified mechanic with over 27 years of experience and was truly disappointed and frustrated when I sent in the car initially for a recall but informed them to change everything out for my washer reservoir due to my concerns of not working and needing it to pass saftey inspection due to knowing that this particular model had issues with cracks and leaks in reservoir and possible washer pumps having resistance issues and failing and to make sure to test system by MB scan tool before getting it back. After 1 and a 1/2 weeks of having it they fixed other repairs too and they called and I picked up my car and the next day had a safety inspection done as it is a State mandate in Hawaii and low and behold it failed because the washer pumps that I spent over 700.00 was not engaging. I was infuriated because I already knew that these idiots did not scan it because that could only mean the washer switch was intermittently working and was not sending proper signal to the sam module and the techs would have caught it if their lazy xxxxx would have scanned it and tested it that way instead of just pressing the washer communication switch and saying "oh yah it works"...what idiot does that. I called to complain and they said sorry and to bring it back in to service. I sent in on a Saturday 6/5/2021 and on Monday 6/7/2021 I got a text message at 12:33pm to have me sign off on the washer switch to repair which I did and sent it back to them immediately at a discounted rate which was the only good thing that happened. The communication there is horrible the serivice advisor Jessica Chun needs to be retrained no one called or texted or emailed me any updates for 5 days! Not only that I requested a loaner car because I had a feeling they were going to take another week or more to get it fixed and the customer service women was very poor in her work attitude and filled out the loaner form agreement totally wrong with my wrong first name wrong street wrong contact number and shrugged it off when I pointed it out to her on 6/5/2021 like oh well ... no sense of pride or accountability not not only that the car they gave me had less than half of tank of gas... unbelievable. The only time I got a call back to tell me what was going on with my car was 5 days later AFTER I filled out their survey with derogatory remarks on their service and poor communication did I get a call back right away. I would NEVER recommend Mercedes Benz of Honolulu. -10: for service and communication. I would not have expected this from Mercedes Benz . But what sets them apart from anywhere else is apparently NOTHING because after all of that experience I will NEVER go back there unless its for another recall on my vehicle. The only reason I gave them a 1 star is because they washed and vacuumed my car and their courtesy driver's were great when I needed to be dropped off and picked up the first time I had them work on my vehicle.
