A week ago marks my 2nd car from Motor Werks; a 2010 E 350. I was set to keep my 2007 BMW until I test drove the 350 which fit my budget & I liked it's new look & the softer ride. My 3 years of Motor Werks service department visits have been exceptional, including one visit on a Saturday with no appointment to repair damage I did to the underbody shroud; which was done while I waited. Mark kept in touch for the last 3 years & I didn't shop other dealers at all. No pressure, just freindly service from sales, dealer management, & also the car wash attendents, who I visit every few days. Mark was sensitive to what I wanted to spend & got me there. I've only driven 700 miles & haven't figured out how to use all the features, but I enjoy the car & working with Mark and his team has been a pleasure. More

No matter who you deal with, you are treated as if you are their only customer, and everyone gives you the impression that they can't do enough for you fast enough. It's unheard of, especially in this day and age, to have such a tremendous relationship with such caring professionals. Anyone who knows me knows of my admiration of this store, and I only wish I could refer even more people to them than I do. Their facilities are modern, sparkling and immaculate. Space does not permit me to list even just some of the plethora of pleasant experiences I've had. Mark Malartsik worked with us on the two recent purchases. He is very professional and knowledgeable of the Mercedes line. Mark is also quite patient and very responsive...he listens and then makes suggestions. Great person to buy a car from. I would HIGHLY recommend this dealership and Mark Malartsik. The service person that we work with at this dealership is Jason Erhart. Jason is great! he is knowledgeable and easy to work with. I own a 1999 CLK 320 with 35k miles on it. The car would not start (crank but not start) also the blower motor would not stop, even with the car off, I had to pull the fuse. I had it towed to this dealer mainly because it was close and I bought two cars from the parent location in Barrington. I called ahead and told them the car was on the way around 7 am. They called when the car arrived and it only took them 2 seconds (not literally) to figure out the problem. Mass air flow sensor and a resistor in the air-conditioner circuit, for a grand total of around $1400. I asked how much of that was labor he said $800 was parts. I feel like I got taken for about maybe $300. But in retrospect the service kind of made up for it. If the total had been $1100 dollars or less I would have definitely planned on taking my car there on a regular basis for routine maintenance. So if money is no object and you want fast reliable service this is the place for you. Don’t do like I did and research the parts prices because you will definitely feel violated. I'm not sure about the resistor but anyone could replace a Mass Air Flow Sensor in about 5 minutes with one tool and the after market ones cost only $178. So the labor cost do kind of make me wonder. I have a history of disappointments with car dealers. So I decided to do a search on the internet for information about good dealers. I have a Mercedes SLK 320 and the check engine light came on. I did not want to go go Autohaus on Edens because my last time there was not good. This site Dealerrater.com had only one dealer with high scores MB of Hoffman Estates. Every MB dealer is terribly expensive so the least I should hope for is good service for the big bucks. I called them up and told them the Check Engine light was on. They said bring it in. I did not have to wait. I got there checked it in. They check it out and in about 20 minutes they told me what was wrong. I autorized the repair which took about an hour. Car was runing fine after the fix. It just seems they are very professional and seem to know what they are doing. I wish I could say the same for other MB dealers. Based on this one repair I will be going to this dealership in the future even though it is much further away from my home than 3 other MB Dealerships. More
I was blown away by the sales experience. Chuck Johnson answered every question. He didn't pressure me in anyway. He really understood what model and options I really wanted and did his best to find it. answered every question. He didn't pressure me in anyway. I've had my E-Class in for 2 or 3 service issues. Wow. They fix everything right away and with skill. This dealer knows his product. I will be coming back again. More
Although I didn't buy a car from Chuck Johnson I would have if this dealer was closer to my home. I stopped in to kill some time and look around while my wife was shopping and ended up spending about a ho have if this dealer was closer to my home. I stopped in to kill some time and look around while my wife was shopping and ended up spending about a hour with Chuck including a test drive in a new SLK 350. He was very knowlegeable and friendly even though he understood my intentions from the start. I did eventually order a car from a dealer closer to my home but when it comes to service I will keep an open mind about this dealer. They appear to be a cut above the other Mercedes dealers that I have visited. More
