Overall this is the best Mercedes dealership I have ever worked with. My only complaint is with Mercedes Benz. Very efficient operation and extremely friendly service personnel. My Service Manager, Adam Himmelwright, kept me very informed of all status changes especially while he liaisoned with the warranty company personnel. While the repair was slightly delayed due to parts issues, the loaner car negated any impact this would have had. Overall a very pleasing experience. More
I took my S550 in for problems with vibration. I have worked with Alex in the service department for years and he is always friendly but more important is always determined to take care of whatever compl worked with Alex in the service department for years and he is always friendly but more important is always determined to take care of whatever complaint or problem that I may have. This time it was very difficult to trace the problem but he was determiined to fix it. He stayed in constant contact with me throughout the whole process to keep me informed and was able after a lot of hard work to fix the problem. I can truly say that I have never had a service representative with any car that I have owned who is such a pleasure to deal with and so dedicated to taking care of his customers. More
Everytime I contact this dealership for work they have always been extremely accomodating and have tried to get me in, even on short notice and get the work finished. Great service. Took a little longer than anticipated but we had a loaner so it was fine. Marty kept us up to date on what was going on with our car and i appreciated that. Everyone at the dealership is always very friendly and helpful. They explain what needs to be done, why, how long it will take, and the approximate cost. After OVER A $1000 REPAIR BILL THE CAR NOW SOUNDS LIKE A MACK TRUCK. CAR WAS NOT PROBERLY TUNED. NOW THE CAR HAS DEVELOPED A MAJOR OIL LEAK AS A RESULT OF THE POOR SERVICE. GIVEN THE PROPER DIAGNOSIS THE MACK TRUCK. CAR WAS NOT PROBERLY TUNED. NOW THE CAR HAS DEVELOPED A MAJOR OIL LEAK AS A RESULT OF THE POOR SERVICE. GIVEN THE PROPER DIAGNOSIS THE POTENTIAL PROBLEMS COULD HAVE BEEN RESOLVED. COMPLETE INCOMPATENCE CAUSED THE PROBLEM. More
When I bring in my car for service, I am always greeted most cordially by the staff. Everything is explained to me and a quote given, so I know what to expect. I am very satisfied with the MB of Hagerstown! Outstanding service and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Although I live closer to the MB of Alexandria, I prefer to deal with the Hagerstown Outstanding service and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Although I live closer to the MB of Alexandria, I prefer to deal with the Hagerstown service center, due to the fact that they make me feel "at home" and provide better service (in terms of lower prices, shorter wait periods, and better workmanship). I only rated the overall experience a "3" because I did not find the service area waiting room at all acceptable. The carpet is filthy - I mean really filthy. The bathroom looked like something out of a Sheetz convenience store. The chair I sat in was broken and my laptop fell on the floor when I sat it on the pull-up arm table. The TV was not on (maybe broken too?). One of things I enjoy about taking my car to HBL in Tysons is the luxorious accomodations while waiting for serivce. Other than that - the experience was fine. More
