Dropped off on 23rd and on 31st got this lousy update (SA called and said software upgrades were done and all solved but they found a nail in our 2020 GLE and this couldn't pass inspection. 2) SA told wife that after software upgrade, the system showed problem w a tire and on closer inspection found a nail. He said too close to side wall. He offered to replace RFT tire for $516. And he said they could get all done in 2 hours. Wow! I told her to ask SA to call me. 3) SA called me and when asked what exactly was wrong ... he said part of State Inspection included a visual check of tires. And they found a nail in it. The earlier BS part was skipped. 4) so my vehicle never encountered any air loss, prior. We check our Mercedes Me app often. And now there is story of nail in tire and to get inspection passed ... needed to get tire done w dealership. SA even said that after replacing tire (I told him I was taking my GLE to discount-tire), I needed to drive abt 100 miles so the software will update correctly and then I could pass inspection. 5) they waited until the last minute to inform me of a nail (I hope it accidentally occurred at the dealership, and wasn't on purpose), and said they could resolve this in 2 hours w new tire purchase at dealership. And now we needed to be cautious driving that 100m and take for inspection again? 6) this afternoon, I took vehicle to discount tire, and they fixed the nail issue. No questions asked, and FOC. 7) I wrote in a long complaint to Mercedes Grapevine and someone called me today. Asked if I wanted to make an appointment for my vehicle. I asked her do you know what's wrong about my vehicle or you were just told to call me to make an appointment. It was the latter. Haha. Are times so bad at dealerships that some unscrupulous practices are emerging? More
My Honda dealership has better service! After 10 days in the shop, the dealership called me for a "ride along" so could re-explain the issue. The technician/manager heard the issue and immediately said "th the shop, the dealership called me for a "ride along" so could re-explain the issue. The technician/manager heard the issue and immediately said "that's not right." 5 days later there was still no resolution. Now we are going back 3 months later for them to try more repair attempts and they have asked for another ride-along! Clueless. More

Kevin Bara was my advisor at the Grapevine Mercedes dealership. I brought my RV in not knowing what was wrong, but hearing a strange noise. The Sprinter mechanics found out what was wrong and repaired dealership. I brought my RV in not knowing what was wrong, but hearing a strange noise. Purchased vehicle from Mercedes of Grapevine on 6/2020 with almost 2000 miles on it, I took it to get serviced as I pre -paid service maintenance , extra coverage for hazard dmg on tires and rims and it w with almost 2000 miles on it, I took it to get serviced as I pre -paid service maintenance , extra coverage for hazard dmg on tires and rims and it was taken to be serviced on 3/2021 they failed to do a tire rotation or advise me that my vehicle needed an alignment , took back on 4/2021 and again they replaced my windshield and some dings they saw on my vehicle and was not advised my vehicle need rotation. I take vehicle to be serviced on 12/4/2021 and was send photos and advised I needed to replace all 4 tires , photos show it uneven wear on tires. I called back and asked why both times my vehicle was previously taken into for service they did not rotate my tire, Tony Manager advised that even if they would of done rotation , tires would of still needed to be replaced as they only last up to 20,000 miles on them. Not only is my vehicle not save to drive , but they failed to service my vehicle correctly. I purchased this pre- paid maintenance place to make sure that my vehicle would be serviced correctly and that I would be save in my vehicle. After them blaming me for not letting them know to rotate my tires , because they must of not felt it was necessary for them to rotate even thought my tire had over 10,000 miles on them. Frustration of lack of integrity this service department has and being able to trust that they are looking to due what is right and not just trying to get my vehicle our of there facility and put myself and my family in danger driving a vehicle like this. Now they offered to pay for 2 of 4 tires ,but still make it look like it is my fault and there Mercedes vehicle tires only last for less 20,000 miles and they did nothing wrong when they failed to service my vehicle correctly. Feel if this would of been done correctly , I wouldn't even had had to bring it to there attention and I pay for them to service my vehicle and left me know if there is anything on my vehicle that would put myself and family in danger. More
