I came in for service to Park Place Bedford while undergoing cancer treatment - I was stage 3 C - and had just left my oncologists and had had radiation and was literally wesring the chemo pack and w undergoing cancer treatment - I was stage 3 C - and had just left my oncologists and had had radiation and was literally wesring the chemo pack and was very sick but I needed my Mercedes G 500 worked on. I live in Keller, TX & my cancer treatment is at Baylor Irving so PPB is on the way home. I am a single mother with a 10 year old at the time. I do not have any help so I have to handle my auto repairs and services myself. Believe me I wanted to be home in bed. My ususal salesman was not there anymore and my customer info was given to John Picnic for future sales. I had bought 3 mercedes myself from Zo at Park Place Bedford and had even brought him customers who bought numerous mercedes. In 3 years I was related to 6 sales at Park Place Bedford (which Picnic told me meant nothing that there are some customers who buy and sell hundreds of cars a year with PPB). Anyway, I ended up walking out with a new $32,000 car with an $1100 payment for 60 month, and I left my G wagon which was valued at $30,100 for a trade and was given $6,400 in the trade. I kept questioing what we were doing as I knew the math was not right. I really did not want to trade the G Wagon and if I had not been sick from the chemo and high from the Vicodin I was on for the excrutiating pain from the radiation I was receiving at 3 points around my hips (butt) in hopes of shrinking the lemon size tumor in my lower colon. Anyway, I understood that I was testing the new car out for the week and would return it on my next chemo/radiation treatment 3 days later. 3 days later I went back to PPB on my way home thinking I would return the new car & get my G-Wagon back. When I got there I was told John Picnic was not available, I looked around for him as did my daughter, but I was told PPB had sold my G-wagon to another dealer and they would not be able to get it back. I actually racked it down to a dealer in Addison, TX who had already sold it for "several thousand dollars over $30,000" (quote). I was sick about losing my G-wagon. My young daughter cried as she called it "truckie" and was very attached to the car (we had spent hours in it traveling all over Texas). John Picnic did not return ANY of my calls. He had another salesperson call me impersonating the General Manager and that guy told me he would help me. He never did. I could go on and on about what PPB did to me. They tricked me, they took advantage of me and my attorney is contemplating a lawsuit. I do not want to add the lawsuit to my schedule right now as I am still undergoing cancer treatment and am trying to stay calm. I get so upset about this. I begged PPB, Mercedes Benz USA, Merciedes Benz Roanoke, all to help me and they ignored and/or refused me. I was really shocked about what happened and sad also as I loved my G-wagon. My former salesman Zo had found the G-wagon for me in Florida and had it brought to me special. He was a great salesman. What does around, comes around. PPB needs training in ethics & integrity. More

My car has electrical problems that have had it in the shop for most of the past three months. The warranty has almost expired. First I was told that by Mike Garthoff that Mercedes would continue to honor shop for most of the past three months. The warranty has almost expired. First I was told that by Mike Garthoff that Mercedes would continue to honor the warranty since with respect to these electrical problems, but that they would not put it in writing (I couldn't get Mercedes to speak to me directly). Now after many trials and tribulations, I find that the original owner of the car returned it to the dealer after about six months after having approximately 8 visits to the shop within that time frame. For a new $40k car! Park Place never disclosed this to me. Mercedes refuses to buy the car back. Now I find out my uncle had to sue the SAME DEALERSHIP for their failure to fix his recurring electrical problems before the warranty ran out, and then attempting to charge him an arm and a leg for repairs of the same issues as soon as the warranty ran out. I would like to know if others have had the same issue. At least I can re-use a lot of my uncle's complaints against these unscrupulous people! More
The service rep is not to blame. I purchased a new 2005 E320 cdi in 2005. I have spent $8000 plus in maintaining my 3 year old vehicle. Two service reps at Park Place Mercedes confirmed I purchased a lemo E320 cdi in 2005. I have spent $8000 plus in maintaining my 3 year old vehicle. Two service reps at Park Place Mercedes confirmed I purchased a lemon but Park Place will not stand up to it. Please know my experience with Mercedes has been horrible and the public needs to know the dealership will not honor lemons after the warranty runs out. Consumers beware! More

I asked why it took 51 miles on my car to check out the volume control on my slk350, the answer was "well, we have to drive a long way to make sure that it was working correctly, and it was a 36 miles or s volume control on my slk350, the answer was "well, we have to drive a long way to make sure that it was working correctly, and it was a 36 miles or so roundtrip." O.K. so what happened to the additional 15 miles? Oh , I don't know anything about that" answered by the service manager. Two huges scratches on the back wheels from this service. "I will fix them for you if you give me 100% satisfaction on the survey", said the service counselor. What a joke, I will never go back to this dealer again. I rather drive an extra 20 miles to another dealership than to go back to these people. More
Wow! It's so refreshing to have a dealership treat you as if they are maintaining a relationship beyond a single sale. My husband and I buy a new car each year. This is our seventh Mercedes, five from P as if they are maintaining a relationship beyond a single sale. My husband and I buy a new car each year. This is our seventh Mercedes, five from Park Place Mercedes within the last three years. What a great experience, again! The sales staff is extremely knowledgeable, not only with regard to current vehicles, but more importantly for clients like my husband and I who are true Mercedes enthusiasts, they provide you with some insight into future models. Autospies is a great web site, but there is no replacement for true professionalism like you'll experience at this dealership. A++! More
Park Place Midcities is ABSOLUTELY the WORST MB dealership in DFW and possibly the world. I have an SLK and ML320 from them and had an C230 sportcoupe on order.

First, my original ML320 engi dealership in DFW and possibly the world. I have an SLK and ML320 from them and had an C230 sportcoupe on order.

First, my original ML320 engine had difficulties and the car was bought back by MB after 1 month. Then as I was picking up the second ML320 from one of it's many services (and just returned the Toyota camry loan car) when I went to trade the ML320 in for a ML430, while crusing the parking lot, I accidentally ran (at 4 mph) into a parking median and dented the passesenger side fender. The car was immobilized at the dealer. They REFUSED to give me back the loaner I had just returned minutes earlier saying it was for warranty service only. So I am stuck 45 miles from home with no car. They made me call a taxi ($75 BILL). While waiting for the taxi, it is 6PM and they close the dealership and make me wait OUTSIDE (like a dummy) for 30 min in the Texas sun in July!!! Long story short, the ladder frame was damaged and the xxx ML320 was totalled by the insurance company. and I now drive a BMW X5 4.4 sport...AWESOME CAR!

Secondly, I was first in the wait list for the C230K sportcoupe, they screwed up/lost my order and said I would have to wait 8 months after the 1st car (which was supposed to be mine) was delivered to someone else! So my son randomly calls the Park Place in Dallas and they have the same car available in the exact specifications as the one I ordered and I picked it up the next day. Thank you Cindy in MB (now in Porsche).

Now I buy all my MB's from Ewing Autohaus in Plano. Shawn Nowroozi is awesome.

Please do youself and the world a favor and NEVER purchase a car from Park Place Midcities EVER..so they will go out of business and/or have the franchise sold to someone who gives a xxxx about their customers.

More
I made the mistake of thinking the Internet Sales team at this dealership would give me the lowest price with the least amount of hassle. They quoted me a price that was later undercut by a showroom salesm this dealership would give me the lowest price with the least amount of hassle. They quoted me a price that was later undercut by a showroom salesman. Also, the Internet folks offered me much less for my MB trade in than Kelley Blue Book suggested. Again, a showroom salesman offered a better trade value.

Still, it wasn't enough to sell me on a new car through them. When asked about their lower trade-in offer as compared to Blue Book online, they said that Blue Book Online values are "probably 3 to 6 months old!" What?? I don't think Kelley Blue Book Online would stay in business if their values were not current.

Too bad there are not more MB dealer choices in the area. Park Place Mid-Cities just doesn't seem too eager to retain customers. More
Disappointed in the sales tactics now used. Not like Mercedes should be. When you are spending this much money on a car, you should be treated very well and not as another way to make more commission. Mercedes should be.
