My wife and I recently purchased a GLK 350 from Park Place/Grapevine. My work schedule doesn't leave me much time for car shopping,so, I searched the internet for dealerships within a 200 mile radius of Place/Grapevine. My work schedule doesn't leave me much time for car shopping,so, I searched the internet for dealerships within a 200 mile radius of my home. Park Place/Grapevine showed up in that search. After viewing their website and finding a vehicle of interest, I contacted the dealership and was put in touch with Kurtis Walker. He was very helpful explaining details of the GLK 350 and sent me links to vehicles that I might be interested in. I actually picked a vehicle to buy, but I wasn't going to be back home from work for a couple of days and wasn't sure that the car would still be available at that time. No problem. Mr Walker told me that he would be glad to deliver the car to my house and bring all the paperwork that needed to be signed. After arriving, he went over the car and explained all the details and answered all the questions that we had. He also spent over an hour sitting in the car with my wife explaining buttons, knobs, pairing phones, etc until my wife felt comfortable with her new vehicle. Kurtis Walker was very helpful to me before and after the sale. He is easy to deal with and talk to. He is not pushy but simply "takes care of business". I met Kurtis Walker some time after graduating from college. During this period I felt it was time for me to buy a newer car because I was driving an older model ML 350 given to me by my parents. Having little to no experience with purchasing a car of my own Kurtis made my experience "EXTREMELY" simple, easy, and very straightforward. I explained to Kurtis I wanted to stay in the ML class since I had been driving my older one since my sophomore year of college. Naturally, anyone buying a car for the first time would feel some anxiety, but that apprehension quickly went away when Kurtis explained to me the process of buy a car and what ParkPlace had to offer. I was able to contact Kurtis at anytime with any question pertaining to ML arrivals, my price range that I wanted to stay in, and amenities I wanted my car to have. After some time of searching a ML 500 with the P2 package became available. As soon as the car came in Kurtis contacted me that night stating "I believe we have found your car", and being the "GREAT" Sale Consultant he is I was highly impressed and even more so impressed by the price. My mother approved the car and was equally elated by the price so I purchased the ML500 as soon as I could since they sell so fast. One of the most honorable traits about Kurtis is even after the purchase had been made he is still accessible. I was able to ask him about my Sirus Sat connection, Homelink for my garage, and other questions I had. I few years I look forward to re-visiting Kurtis and ParkPlace when its time to trade this car in and get another. More
disorganized dealership, salesman had no patience to explain vehicle to me in test drive and then when i took delivery of the vehicle, he didn't have time to explain the vehicles features to me. Took vehicle in for service (that was promised as a condition of the sale) and they lost the key. Only after talking to sales manager Matt McPherson was I able to get the service you would come to expect from a Mercedes Benz dealer. They also made un-authorized charges to my credit card. When I called to find out why, no one called me back or could explain why that happened. Do not buy a vehicle from Park Place Grapevine Mercedes. I went to MB Plano a week before and didn't find anyone there who seemed to want to sell me a car. No one from MB Plano contacted me after my internet inquiry. Park Place was different and very accommodating. Pleasant experience overall. More
I just bought an amazing 2012 SLK350 Mercedes from Tony Bedford. This is probably my 7th car that I have bought there and I always go back to Tony. The only reason I didn't give this dealership a great rating in all category's was due to the long wait and the pricing. However, I didn't get the exact pricing I wanted but overall I drove away with a B rating in all category's was due to the long wait and the pricing. Over all I was impressed by the dealership, and the staff were very professional, kind, and courtious. I never felt pressuered or expected to accept something I did not want.
