Service Department is horrible. We had Kim as our adviser and as other posts have noted, she was less than competent. There were multiple requests for an update and they were not returned. This is now our fourth attempt for service at this dealership and the same problem. The service is scheduled ahead of time for a certain day. We take the vehicle in the day before. It is now late afternoon, the day before a holiday weekend, and we cannot get an answer. Finally after three calls we were advised they were running behind and they would call us back. After four attempts, this will be our last service at this dealership. We will be better off traveling further and going to Chandler or Scottsdale. Hopefully those service departments are responsive to their customers. More
As nephew of Milton, I'd first like to say I've been honored to spend a great amount of time with him. I WAS FLAT OUT LIED TO! The worst vehicle purchase experience I had. After sale customer service is a joke. I bought a sprinter van. I love the van. The back up camera didn’t work. Garrett the salesma experience I had. After sale customer service is a joke. I bought a sprinter van. I love the van. The back up camera didn’t work. Garrett the salesman said, “we will fix that, no problem”. So I bought the van. Full price, whatever- I love the van. Garrett said, “service will call you Monday”. A week of trying to get the van in turns in to 3 and a half months of being told, “ I need to get a paper from finance, we’ll call you back”. Over and over. Once you buy, THEY WILL NOT CALL YOU BACK! After going in personally to have Garrett tell me again, “I’ll take care of it”, only to be ignored again. When I got it in, they had it almost 2 months to tell me, “my manager says we are not going to do it”. JUST KEEP YOUR WORD!!! They say whatever they need to to get you to buy, once you do, their words are lies and broken promises. No better than a two bit, third rate, crooked dealership in a third world country. Actually. A few of them might have kept their word. I was lied to in every stage of this nightmare. What a sucker I am. 1.Finance-”Credit unions won’t lend on this, They consider it commercial”.You need our snake oil financing at 6.8%. Then they changed terms of loan a week later!!! This is not good business. I am at 2% at my credit union. No problem. 2.Sales (Garrett) “ We will take care of everything, we’ll fix it”. NEVER CALL BACK. 3.Sales and service Told me my van didn’t even come with one. Not according to the dash console, the camera on it, the owners manual, and another Mercedes dealership! 4.Customer Service- I say that jokingly (Bill) Useless. Just one more person to not call me back. Mercedes Benz of Gilbert. Shame on you. You should have honored our agreement. More
Sales department was great, however; the service assistant Kim was beyond incompetent. The general "manager", Mike, has a horrible attitude even when his staff has very obviously done a quite poor job. I would purchase here again for a great deal, then take my vehicle elsewhere for servicing because they will absolutely lie to you and run you around before finally doing what they agreed to do initially.
