Through an excellent Mercedes Benz website of Certified Preowned I was able to locate 2 vehicles at MB Gainesville through Ken Davis. I was approved on line and he transferred the file to his counterpart Nicole _________ in finance. Upon my arrival both vehicles were ready for my inspection and we drove my 1st chioice, which I later that day purchased. Nicole was most efficient and a pleasure to deal with. A nine year employee there. Ken led me directly to the Interstate, called me enroute and answered a few questions I had the next day. The dealership was elegant and very comfortable. Came in after seeing an online ad for a 2012 Audi S5 for sale, as well as wanting to see if I could fit into an E350 Coupe. Initially, my experience was casual and to the point. After some lackadaisical salesmanship, it seemed as if Larry wasn't interested in my business while looking at the Audi. When I started to ask questions about the E350, I had to ask several times because he wasn't paying attention and his answers were very vague and his knowledge was unimpressive. As I sat in a 2014 E350 convertible (I didn't want a convertible), I asked him to tell me why I would want one and he couldn't, sadly. I left Mercedes of Gainesville dissatisfied, disappointed, and very discontent. Regardless of how good a deal I may have gotten from trading my Infiniti in, or by making an all-cash purchase, I will never consider this dealership. And what's more? Immediately after leaving the dealership I called and complained to the general manager but receiver no follow-up call or attempt at consolation. More
I began my search for a "good" used sedan through online marketing & auto information sites. I was looking for a used auto from years 2007 - 2011. My searches over time brought me to the Mercedes-Benz dealership in Gainesville, FL. I emailed the dealership with a technical question and immediately got a personal return with the information. I then called the dealership and talked with Chris Lopez about the used car I was interested in. He answered my questions and extended additional important information about the car. We arranged a visit to inspect and drive the auto. I drove the 84 miles the next day, met Chris and discussed the car and then drove it. He and other members of the dealership staff also offered useful information that helped me decide to purchase the auto. The discussions were very useful but not "high pressure" to "get me" to commit to purchasing the car. I committed to purchase the car at a negotiated price that day. I arranged to return the next day with the appropriate documents and payment documents. The purchase and additional introduction to all aspects of the car was professionally completed to my satisfaction and the dealership's. I will return to the dealership for service and I will recommend the dealership to others. The staff are professionals and proud of their services & autos. You are treated as a valuable client from the time you contact them and throughout the selection and purchase process. More
First of all, the Certified Pre-owned vehicle that I purchased was exactly what I was looking for. My first contact with the dealership was Larry Nero, the Internet Sales rep. Larry was quite helpful over the phone, and after we discussed the vehicle, as well as my trade in value, we decided to purchase the car. Upon arriving at the dealership, we were greeted by Larry, who walked us through the process, and had the car ready for viewing in the indoor facility. We were very pleased with the vehicle, as well as Larry's responsiveness to our needs and any concerns that we had. Once all of the financial paperwork was put in motion, Larry also spent about 45 minutes going over all of the operational functions of the vehicle with my wife and I. I must say that Larry Nero made this a very pleasant and seamless experience! We are very happy with our purchase, and also very pleased with the service we received at Mercedes Benz of Gainesville, and would highly recommend this dealership as a place to purchase a new or used vehicle. Mercedes-Benz Gainesville always goes above and beyond on the service they provide. I recently brought in my non-mercedes vehicle for regular oil change services and they noticed where I had my window fixed the service they provide. I recently brought in my non-mercedes vehicle for regular oil change services and they noticed where I had my window fixed by another service provider who did not fully complete the job by removing the glue from the tape I had used to hold my window and Mercedes-Benz Gainesville courteously had their technician remove it for me. Mercedes-Benz Gainesville always runs my car through the wash and interior detail service before returning it to me. Thanks MB-G for the many years of wonderful service. More
Relationships are important in any business. I have known Dillon Hastie for years. The customer service he provides is the reason I still bring my Jeep to a dealership that used to be Mercedes/Jeep but split Dillon Hastie for years. It makes sense for Mercedes-Benz mechanics to be competent and they are here. The dealership provides me with rides to and from my house or gives me a loaner if my car will be in the shop for a couple of days. Customer service does not get any better. More
It´s a Mercedes dealership and it holds up to that, of course... the lighting, decoration and cleanliness of the entire facilities, the amenities, and of course the products and materials used. What makes this dealership different are the people, especially ones like Dillon Hastie. I have had plenty of experience with "service" personnel of car dealers, from GM, Renault, VW, and Toyota to other MB dealers, but none as superb as Dillon Hastie. Dillon Hastie is knowledgeable, hard working, efficient and friendly, but more than that he has special communication skills that make you trust and feel good about the mechanics/services performed on your car, unlike other service managers that leave you doubting about being cheated and robbed! Not only does Dillon know all the technical-mechanical stuff and the organization-administrative in and outs of the dealership, but he also takes the time to know your particular car as well as you; all that coupled with his clear explanations and transparent recommendations, along with his ability to treat people of all walks of life, makes him the best service manager ever. In conclusion, Dillon Hastie is an excellent bridge between the technicians/mechanics/office staff and the customer. He is an excellent representative of the MB brand. There is no other like him... which is probably why I always see him so busy, but thankfully he is very organized and efficient, and with a smile on his face ... and hopefully he is rewarded in accordance!
